Fun build
This building set of space vehicles that can be turned into a robot is so much fun to build. My kids had a nice time putting all of the pieces together and getting to play with all of the vehicles. The pieces are all very colorful and fit tight to each other. The built vehicles did not fall apart when played with. What my kids really liked is that most of the pieces can be put together to create a very large robot. Overall the instructions were very easy to follow and this build makes for a great playset.

unique assembly experience, standard size pieces
The X in 1 assembly process of this kit is different compared to the over a dozen other X in 1 kits I own. In other kits you typically opt to build either the smaller models or the final form, assembling each from scratch with the pieces. In this kit you build the smaller models first and then transform them into the mech (if you want) in what is a pretty elaborate and creative process.I've actually never seen an X in 1 kit done this way but it's awesome. It does involve a different manner of spatial reasoning that isn't typical in brick building but the instructions illustrate the motions clearly and use a lot of directional arrows to guide you. To facilitate this breakdown and rearranged design the smaller models are more complicated than they appear to be and there are a lot of uncommon pieces use.The pieces are standard, all of mine were presented, and the mating was perfect. The mfg polybagged the instructions and decals. I love it when mfgs do this, its such a simple way to ensure the end user receives the item in good condition and it worked too because my instructions/decals arrived without any creases or tears. The pieces are polybagged too, and numbered 1, 2, 3, 4 to correspond with the smaller models (bag 4 has two models in it). The decal sheets are lettered A, B, C, D, so just match those up, and if you look close at the instructions you can see the image of the decal being called for.

Mess of a Mech. Cool concept.
Mech mode is a mess. Not stable like an actual LEGO set build. The individual builds are ok and are pretty stable compared to the mech build. The parts are LEGO compatible and were all there in numbered bags and I would say they were fine for the most part but were very tight this is most noticeable when trying to put the limbs on the mech. The set has a few prints but comes with the stickers. The stickers were easy to work with. There were a couple that had to be put on over multiple pieces if that bothers you. The instructions while clear were too small. I recommend this set if you like the smaller builds. But I purchased this for the mech and was disappointed because the stability is just not there.

You won't transform this much
I love the build structure, building 5 smaller vehicles instead of indescriminant parts, is easier to work through, on the flip side - the instructions are really cramped, so you'll need to double check frequently. The size is smaller than some roughly comparable mech builds, but I enjoyed putting this together more... HOWEVER I do not like assembling the mech itself, it is not like say Voltron where pieces slide into each other, no you take each of the five sets somewhat apart in order to put it together, so you'll need to keep the manual cor a while.

Super Cool
This build is really fun. You actually build it as individual builds before having to semi-disassemble and reassemble the pieces as the mech. The mini builds are pretty easy to put together and they look neat. This set does have a ton of stickers. The stickers are pretty forgiving though and give you some wiggle room to be able to peel and reposition them when installing the.The mech is awesome. It's got transformer vibes. The instructions are well laid out and were easy to follow along with and the packages of parts are well organized.I will note thatthe box this came in was totally gross though. It maybe had a label with a picture on the box.... But it had peeled off and was just a grossly sticky plain box.The pieces were undamaged though.Great set.

Low Quality, does not hold together.
This was a extremely low quality set. Some of the pieces were cracked and discolored. It would utilize a lot of unneccessary parts (i.e. use 4 1x1 square pieces instead of 1 4x1 piece), which would lower the overall strenght of the item. The pieces would constantly come apart when adding other parts. When I did finally get the full mech put together, it could not stand on its own without falling apart. I would not recommend this set for anyone, especially anyone that does not have the patience to deal with things constantly falling apart and having to put them back together again.

Nice building block kit
My oldest daughter loves building blocks and enjoys robots and mechs so this was a double win.The set is great, to start you build a number of different vehicles and ships and then there are directions to combine them into the large mech. She took a few hours building this whole set and really likes it. The finished mech is on display in her room right now.Overall, this is a great kit that has a number of fun different options for building.

Quality building bricks
I've built many building bricks sets before and can spot cheap kinds a mile away. This set is made up of quality pieces manufactured with precision. The plastic is a harder stiffer type, not soft like cheaper brands. The pieces fit perfectly and snugly together. I appreciate that the bags are labeled so that you don't have to open everything at once. The diagrams in the instruction booklet are clear, except that any written instructions are NOT in English. I love the overall design of the set, the person who created it is a master builder. The mech is awesome and is a sight to behold when all our together. As with any mech built from building bricks, it's more a display piece than something that can be played with too roughly. Overall I highly recommend it for its awesome design and quality build. Be mindful that this is a more difficult build and will need adult help if bought for a child.
