This is a wonderful buy for a beginner. If you are looking for something to make elaborate designs you should invest in something a little more expensive. This one is definitely for a younger age group. It's suitable for a fun kid craft.

Granddaughter loves it keeps her busy for a long time

I thought that you would be able to use the 3Dpen to trace over the designs in this book, peel it off, and stick the pieces together. Nope. The paper sticks horribly to the pen designs and does not come off without the paper ripping and tearing. Since each sheet of paper has a design on the front and the back, it essentially ruins the design on the back from being used. So you get a one-time pass with only one side of the designs in this book.
