Fun and easy to use - but watch out for competitive groups!
Easy to set up and like that only uses 2 batteries vs plug or batteries for each unit. Cords are 3' long which sounds good but I will probably buy some longer ones to have to trade out. Only thing that would be nicer is if you could reset via remote as I had to keep walking from computer to reset buzzer, but if that was the worse thing, this was a good investment for my classroom activities. Only used once so not sure about how long it will last, but really liked the functionality and the ability to identify who buzzed in first.

Works as expected, but the plugs are a little difficult to insert
The game buzzer system arrived quickly and with all the parts. I like the packaging: Unlike most things I buy online, the box this comes in is (in my opinion) a decent reusable storage box. Startup was easy: Plug one end of the 8 included 3.5mm female/female cables into a button and the other ends into one of the 8 receptacles on the control box, insert two AA batteries into the control box, press a couple of buttons and you are ready to go. The device even came with batteries, which was a surprise. The buttons illuminate before one is pressed, then after a press only the "winning" button remains illuminated. Instead of a "buzz" the control box emits a "beep," and the beep is not very loud, so it is just right for a classroom or a family game table environment. One of the control buttons on the box mutes the "beep." The lights are a dim green/yellow color and are a little hard to see under bright light. You can use the unit two ways: Either reset all of the buttons in each round (you press two buttons) or shut down each "winning" buttons until all have been pressed (in the event that the first guess is wrong, you can allow the remaining players to buzz in).The plugs were pretty difficult to insert on both ends. The overall construction does not feel durable, but time will tell. If the system is handled carefully it should last a long time. I wish the lights were brighter. Finally, I feel like the unit is just a little over-priced. This feels like a $60-$80 product, not $100. However, it is also the most affordable system that matched my needs. All things considered, I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend the Trebisky game buzzer system.

Family game night competitors rejoice!
We love a lively game of Jeopardy with the whole family, but disputes over who rang in first are rampant. After the last game session, I was tasked with finding a solution. This buzzer system is easy to set up...my 7-year-old grandaughters had no problem with it. It takes a little finesse as the game moderator to know when to push the start, stop or continue buttons, but after a little practice it was smooth sailing. I'll update this review the next time the whole family gets together again and we try it for real. :)Other systems cost a lot more. Buy this if you want a relatively inexpensive way to:1. Prevent players from buzzing in too soon.2. Lock out those who ring in early.3. Know for sure who rang first.4. Rule family game night!

Worked Great!
I used the buzzers for a bible school review class for 2nd through 4th graders. It went off very well. First thing is that I was grateful for the mute on the buzzer noise! That was very important! There weren't many instructions in the box for how to use, but one particular video on the Amazon site where I bought it was very helpful. It made the buzzers very easy to use. I like the mute for the buzzer noise, and I like that you can lock out the person who has the wrong answer so the others can then answer. Both of those were very helpful! I had looked at other brands of buzzers, but they all had reviews about that one falling apart during use. The Trebisky Buzzer lasted throughout and ready for the next round. I came up with the idea for class, found the Trebisky Buzzer, ordered it and received it within a couple of days. It was great and I'm very happy with the outcome. The only suggestion I would make when using it, is to subtract points for wrong answers, or for people buzzing in before the question was completely read. These more competitive kids had fun, but the others felt like they never had a chance. Of course, none of that has to do with the buzzer itself. So, would I recommend the Trebisky Buzzer? I would! Definitely!

Great product!
I’m a teacher of 16 yrs and this device is worth the hefty price tag. There’s a wireless version, but I’m glad I got the wired. Makes learning more engaging and can do more trivia games etc.

Wonderful product
I purchased the buzzers to do a quiz bowl style review with my students. The kids absolutely loved using them. They are loud enough to clearly hear and the green light is bright enough to be seen with the lights on in the room. The controls are easy to figure out too. I used them on my kidney table so no issues with the length of the chords. Great product!

Fun for trivia night
We used this for a family jeopardy game night. It worked great and was a lot of fun. One cable did not work but luckily it was a spare. I contacted customer service and they replied within a few hours that a replacement cable will be sent. Great product and great customer service.

Just what I wanted, feels a bit cheap
I needed a quiz buzzer system for classroom use. We had buzzers, but no way to know which one was pressed first other than hearing which buzzer sound started first. With these the first button pressed will stay lit and the rest will go dark.I like that the buzzer can be muted.Slightly frustrated that the reset button must be pushed after each buzz-in.The buttons and the whole system are light and feel a bit on the cheap side. I will update how well they last.Set up is easy and quick. The cords that come with it are not very long. I recommend getting the extension cords for the buzzers if you will play with more than three at a time.
