I'm using this with my DDJ-SB3 which fits perfectly. I can store my laptop and charger/cables in the perfectly sized zipper pockets which is handy. I don't need a backpack to go with this back which means less stuff to carry to a gig. The zippers seem to be of decent quality and should hold up to wear and tear. They don't feel like they are going to skip teeth or break easily. As with any cheaper zipper system, I'd still be somewhat careful though. The padding inside the controller bag is about half an inch for the top and half an inch for the bottom pad. This bag should be able to protect your controller from basic travel to gigs but I do NOT recommend checking this bag on a flight as the protection is just not enough. A hard case would be sufficient. The bag comes with an adjustable strap that can be connected to the bag in two different configurations. The strap does not have padding but since the controllers are typically light, this shouldn't be a huge issue. Adding a heavy laptop might make you wish you had a padded strap.Overall the quality of the DJ controller bag is good and should provide some protection during transport. I really like the price point for this bag and feel that it fits with the quality and usefulness.
