The starter failed on my Cub Cadet several weeks ago. Found this and ordered. It arrived faster than expected and works flawlessly. Appears to be well constructed and was extremely easy to install. The mower fires right up now. Excellent part and definitely recommend.

Bolted onto the Kohler 7000 twin. Starts wonderfully.

Received the starter and installed. Started right up and was able to mow my lawn. We have been in a drought, so I haven't had to mow and wanted to mulch leaves today. I tried to start mower, and it locked up. Found the starter shaft was bent causing it to lock up. Took starter off and the mower motor is fine. The shaft on the starter is bent so it must be made with inferior material. Lucky this is the last day I am able to return this starter.
