Fantastic for Me
All the formal reviews from CNET, RTINGS, etc. say that this is a budget and average TV. They say that the picture isn't that great because it doesn't have local dimming, so it doesn't get black enough to provide good contrast in a dark room, and it's not bright enough to be used in bright room. They also say the viewing angle is bad, so it's not a good TV in a group setting. Our last TV was 2009 Panasonic plasma that we had been using all this time--still works BTW. It was fine, providing 1080p display. Going to this TV was a major upgrade. It is definitely a budget TV, because I was able to buy an 85" for $800! Try finding as good deal on a 85" with anything else. We use it in our living room and we have had no problem with the viewing angles. For us, the picture is immaculate supporting all kinds of High Def formats that it auto-detects when watching movies, streaming, or playing games. The GoogleTV interface is super easy to use, and we can cast from both our Android and Apple devices (via Apple AirPlay). The picture seems plenty bright to us, though you do have to deal with glare if you got light shining directly on it from your windows during the day. At night it looks beautiful to us. We do not have other TVs next to it for a comparison, so we can't tell how "bad" it is. We hosted a couple game nights watching college football and basketball, and it has been awesome. My friends all thought the picture was great and loved how big the screen is.Also, the speakers are actually really good in this TV. I'm not currently using my sound bar, because I don't really need to. To be fair, I haven't tried buying an eArc HDMI cable and hooking it up yet, but I have been very impressed with the built-in speakers. There are also a lot of settings for the speaker setup that include AI to monitor and control the sound.I have no complaints with this TV.

Fantastic TVs with a Fantastic Price!
So great we bought it again! We purchased this make & model in an 85" back in September of last year and loved it so much we purchased a second 65" this past week. These tvs have such great picture quality, minimal issues with the UI/software, and are easy to use. And the price is unbeatable! We replaced a Samsung model we had purchased in 2025 and were so happy we made the jump!

Gaming, Streaming, Performance 10/10
TLDR: This replaced the projector I've been using, and I couldn't be happier with my choice here (98 inch). Gaming, game streaming is excellent. Movies. 10/10.Apps I use that work amazing on this:Stremio (sailing the high seas in 4k)Moonlight (streaming your games from your PC to your TV, highly recommend)I had been debating finding a new TV, I've just been using a projector for a few years now and I've gotten tired of not being able really use it during the day or even play games at all on it.I was super worried about it showing up and it being broken, but it wasn't an issue at all. Getting it into my house though.. Definitely measure the entryway first. 😅 I barely made it, and that was forcing it through my stairway. Risky business. It all worked out though. It's really 'snappy', no delays or lag with input. Picture is perfect. Its absolutely massive and definitely a surprise for anyone that walks in. Gaming, movies and everything else looks fantastic.Performance was a big surprise. I'm running the android TV Moonlight client on it to stream games from my desktop to this TV, and WOW! Blew my expectations out of the water. No perceptible input lag with my controller hooked directly to the TV, graphics and stream are PERFECT and I'm going over wifi instead of wired in internet. No tearing, skipped frames, nothing. (I do have a high-end desktop, and very high end networking through the house though, so results may vary). Why does it matter? Because android/google TVs have been notorious for being very bad at running this app, but this one handles it like a champ. 10/10 would recommend for the gamers.I'm not an expert on color accuracy and everything, but it all looks fantastic. The sound is fantastic. Graphics definitely rival (and surpass) my gaming monitor.I did notice some black screens for a bit when I play on my xbox, but that was a settings issue. Pay attention to the inputs, and what each one supports for speed/quality. And adjust any settings on devices to stay in line. Make sure your cables support the quality you're going for.

Great set unless you use bluetooth for sound
I was more than happy with the picture quality of this TV considering the price. The sound from the internal speakers is better than I'd expect as well, but I'm using an external soundbase. I'd give it 5 stars except for the fact that when using the optical output, the audio lags the video slightly, but noticeably. When using blue tooth out, the lag is much worse. I've tried it with different earbuds, headphones and speakers and it's definitely the TV. I've tried to correct it using the "Audio Delay" feature under the Audio menu but it doesn't seem have much effect. If you don't use bluetooth you probably won't notice it. Otherwise, it's a great set for 300 bucks.
