Great Clipper Kit
Well it's WAHL I've been familiar with their products for decades and never bee disappointed, same with this one.A well thought out kit would be great for a mobile hairdresser on a budget, I know there are cheaper but this supplies the quality relative to the price. With pretty much the kitchen sink thrown in the really nice touch is that the combs are marked with sizes in traditional barbers 'number x' and inches and millimetres so there is no doubt as to what size your using. The charge base is great for charging and storing the clippers and the bag is not a low quality one and everything fits in it and it's no bigger than a large pencil case. 100% happy with this product.

Quick to charge and easy to use. Multiple blade covers and additional specialist heads.
I've had a few beard / hair trimmers over the years and this seems nicely made in comparison. The unit is very easy to charge although you need to use the included lead - I would have preferred a USB C or similar charging port as this would have allowed me to use any lead to power up the charging stand. The unit comes with multiple blade covers allowing differing lengths of cut - which is identical functionality to most of the other trimmers that I have owned. However, this trimmer also comes with a detachable head which men's the standard slipper can be removed and swapped for one of the specialist heads (shaver, ear trimmer etc)I found the standard clipping did a good job although I had to move the unit relatively slowly otherwise it felt like it was pulling some of the hairs out rather than cutting them, also the twin razor head did a good job on very short stubble but struggled to cut any longer areas so these still needed shaving afterwards.Switching the head units is very easy to do - they just pop off, but take care not to damage the on/off switch as this is just a thin plastic piece that you can catch with your thumb if you don't take enough care when changing the heads over.A handy bit of kit and the one adjustable blade cover allows you to dial in the length that suits you best which means that you don't need loads of different single length covers - good for travelling.

Quality Issues
Doesn’t reflect a full body shaving quality. I tried shaving my head with it and barely got past my ears to the crown.I highly recommend buying corded shavers instead.

Almost too much...
If you want one tool to do a range of things, the Elite from Wahl probably covers most if not all of your bases. And for me - that's actually also one of the downsides. When a tool does one thing and does it well - you know exactly where you are. In this case - unless you are already familiar with the sort of functions it provides - you will start off scratching your head (metaphorically speaking) as you try to work out what head is for what purpose, how they clip on and off and then which optional clip on accessory to use.The shaver is okay - I've never really been a fan of electric shaving - I prefer the definitive progress of a wetshave. However, on occasion, when I'm in a real hurry, an elective shaver comes in handy. The Wahl provides a competent razor head.In terms of beard grooming - again, you are beset with choices. Firstly, get the right head - secondly, which plastic add on do I want to use. In the past I've suffered from over trimming things (and once you've done that to one part of a beard...)In summary - if you want one (admittedly versatile) tool to cover a range of possible jobs - the Elite has you covered. Just be prepared, at first use, to spend some time getting know which options you need to use to achieve your "look".

Charging the unit doesn't work.
Ever since the product arrived it hasn't been able to be charged. No matter which power outlet its connected to.

First time user of a trimmer. Pleased with results on my husbands hair.
I've never used a hair trimmer before, but with the warm weather finally making an appearance, my husband was asking if I could cut his hair a bit shorter than usual at the back of his neck. I layered the top and sides of his hair in the same way as I usually do, then used the number 4 comb to trim round the back of his neck. It probably takes a bit of practise to know how to angle the trimmer properly, as it looked a lot shorter than I had expected a number 4 comb to be. Nonetheless, once the hair was gone, I couldn’t put it back, so I continued on with it.I blended the trimmed area into the rest of the cut by lifting the hair where there was a visible line between styles, and graduating it in, between trimmer cut and scissor cut. I was able to get sharp precise points and lines using this trimmer near his ears and above, which looked great when finished. I was very pleased with the result for my first attempt, and he was happy to have a cool neck.I found this trimmer has a very nice feel in the hand, slimline and compact, and just weighty enough without being at all heavy. It looks very professional, and has a high quality look and feel about it. I especially liked the stand and the large zipped storage bag, which comfortably stores everything together in one place.I also used the eyebrow trimmer on my husband. I usually trim his unruly brows with scissors, but using this trimmer felt safer, and was much quicker and easier. It gave a really neat and even length right the way across the entire brow. For some reason, I did find the eyebrow trimmer attachment was much trickier to fit than the other attachment heads. It has to be hooked on the centre back of the trimmer top first, then pushed hard towards the front silver section until it clicks into place. It feels almost like it’s not going to fit, but keep pushing and it definitely does locate. The heads can all be changed easily by snapping the attachments backwards, away from the silver front of the trimmer, and they just fall away from the top section. This is a really excellent set, which contains everything a man could need to keep all hairy areas looking smart and well maintained. I think it's well worth the price, as trimming your own hair at home saves such a lot of money.
