Good value for the money, I could have paid more for a better product. These were perfectly adequate as a decoration for a fence post, as something that doesn't get handled or used, as such, they will last for years. I would recommend.

Ordered these to add to a black surround my husband made for my parents grave. Very happy with the items, much cheaper than anything else we found and all looks perfect. Considering ordering more to use in the garden

Easy to install & looks the business.

Used these to finish off the tops of the posts on a pergola I built in the garden. They come in three sections, the base, then the bottom and top of the 'acorn'. They are black plastic so I decided to paint them with a tin of antique gold spray paint from B&M which worked well as I built up the colour with three light coats. Fitting them was straightforward, the base and bottom of the acorn are secured with a screw (used a 50mm) then the top of the acorn is held on with three securing pins but I found that cutting a 2-3mm off with scissors made them easier to press down onto the bottom part. There is an overhang at the edges but my posts are only 910mm wide so on a proper 4" post this wouldn't be as much. Then again it'll stop the rain penetrating the end of the post. Overall, very pleased with the item and would recommend.

Poor quality no screws to attach acorn to base, and actually 4 1/4" across base waste of money.

Disappointed with these. The three pieces are all hollow. Plastic base piece and bottom half of acorn fit with one screw. The worst bit is the top half of the acorn only snaps into place with three bendy plastic prongs and I found them to be too long to sink all the way in anyway. It was easier to glue the halves together. Can't see them lasting long and they do look cheap. You get what you pay for. Pay more and get wood.
