I like that the product is soft but still functional. We tried it on a really windy day and it gets caught flying pretty far. The kids have fun with it and it survived hitting the ground pretty hard. Overall was a good gift for the 9 year old.

Very durable. Nice size and shape. I can't get it to come back to me but I've got the same problem with girls, dogs, jobs and friends, so it's probably just me.

My son loves the boomerang, although I apparently did not have enough experience using one as a child. I have yet to get it to come back to me, therefore i have not been able to show him how to get it to come back to him. We ended up using it like a frisbee. it flies well, and doesn't hurt to bad when getting hit by it. I know that first hand as my son got a little to close and wacked me when i wasnt paying attention.I would say its definitely fun for kids, and is durable. I just need a little bit more practice to get it to function the way that it is intended to.

Exactly what my son wanted!

So my kid got a boomerang for Christmas but after a few days it accidentally got lofted into the trees on a careless throw. We couldn't find the one he lost to the squirrels so we tried this boomerang. Looks as pictured, but we could never get it to come more than half way back to thrower. Even watched youtube videos for pointers.....Could be user error but we were unimpressed and kid was disappointed.

My son absolutely loves his boomerang and it works great! Great buy!
