Works well but you have to hold the fob you're copying slightly away from the blue handle. It is a bit finicky but works well and is a good value

I was disappointed as strangely enough, the Cards and Fobs worked but not read /write device. I had an another device just like the one I ordered here and it worked on the fobs and cards but the device that came with cards and Fobs did not work. It was fortunate I had another read/write device.

So I was in the hospital for a few months and somehow my keys and fob for my complex were lost. I was able to make replacement keys for a reasonable amount but when it came to replecing my fob for my condo I shopped around and got estimates ranging from $50 for the fob alone plus programming fees of $30-40. Seriously? Talk about gouging people, Las Vegas merchants you should be ashamed. I got this kit and a supply of fobs and cards for a quarter of what you folks are charging. Folks save yourselves money this kit is ridiculously easy to use. Worth every penny!

I used this to make copies of my apartment complex fob, and it worked well. The process was a little finicky at first—took a few tries to get it to read and write correctly—but once I figured it out, everything went smoothly.Definitely a useful tool to have around if you want backups or need to share access. Just be patient with the setup, and you’ll get the result you need.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm amazed by this little device. It may look like a cheap plastic toy from a dollar store but trust me it really works. I copied my HID access card to 3 key fobs in less than 5 minutes and that includes putting the batteries in. Those who say it doesn't work must have an unsupported card or they are not copying it correctly. Press the card against the device while reading until you hear a beep then do the same to write to a key fob. It's really simple. Look up some videos if you have to.

This product did not work for me. It does not appear to be able to read any cards or HID tags I attempt to scan. The instructions were seemingly sufficient if it worked but were mediocre when it comes to trouble shooting. It’s made of very cheap feeling plastic, which makes it feel like a toy. Since it doesn’t really work and only lights up, it essentially is just a toy.

I bought this to duplicate my ProxCard II as a backup. I didn’t expect much from the key ring fob, but both the card and the fob worked nicely.It did exactly what I needed, but there’s one thing to note. When attempting to read and write, it’s not always straightforward. You might need to change the spot or adjust the angle, but eventually, you will get it right. Be patient and wait for the two beeps to confirm the completion of the read and write process.Overall, I’m satisfied with this purchase.

I saved $20 buying this rather than get a replacement 2nd key and from my HOA. I made 2 cards from my working HOA issued card and keep one in my car and one with my bike keys, they have been working for a couple of months already.
