Came with excellent stakes they are thick and sturdy. Seams are taped and the vents have a Velcro struts to keep the vents open. This tent stayed up in 60mph gusts and 2 inches of rain. Condensation is an issue.

Bought this for solo trips camping, and wanted something lightweight and portable. Overall I'm pleased on both of these counts; the whole kit is only a couple pounds, and the bag it comes in is about 6x6x15 inches with two handles or easily placed in a pannier on a motorcycle.Design wise the exterior tent feels durable and well made, equal to most other tents on the market. The inner tent is a bit weaker, but still feels like it will be usable for a long time. The design of the tent is interesting with a double layer approach, but it ends up working fairly well with the ability to use the exterior tent in a couple different ways.This in mind, I do not entirely agree with the assessment that this is a good winter tent. The interior tent breathes, and the exterior design does not offer much more than maybe some snow/rain shielding. There's little to insulate this, and the lack of a firm bottom on the exterior means wind can get in under the edges, draining heat from the tent's interior. The only way I see this working in winter is by using a strong bag inside, like a 30-below bag. This really comes out as more of a summer tent.

Setting it up on my own wasn't too complicated, though it was a bit tricky getting the center pole to balance while I was staking it out.Once up, there's plenty of room for a wood burning stove and gear on one side with a sleeping bag and additional gear on the other. The material feels tough and the no-burn fabric square for around the stove pipe works great.My only complaint is that I wish they had used no-burn flooring instead of leaving the bottom open, it would have increased the sales price but would be worth it imo.

This seems to have a decent quality fabric, and isn't difficult to set up. It is definitely a 1-person tent, though, don't even bother trying to fit 2 people in it, unless it's small children. I love that it is designed for a camp stove for heat, though it doesn't come with the stack pipe. Ultimately, if you're wanting a one-person tent that is low-profile for taking to the backwoods, you should give this a try, as it is quite a versatile little setup!
