Easy to install. Works well.

It works very well. I have very small smoker . Bought to replace electric coil. It puts out tremendous heat so I must be careful to not go more than half the heat control, and check every hour on progress or items will burn to a crisp. So it is powerful. Go low and slow, even if light does not come on at lowest setting.. it is still d as round 95 degrees and up to 450 .. so this is made for a much larger smoker. But is doable as a replacement for my use. I am happy with this purchase as there was noth else on the market.

Replaced a burnt out element, works great

It worked very well! It was a little on the large side for our Smoke Hollow smoker, but some retrofitting and it worked great. In fact it heated up in half the time and we actually had to take measures to stop it from getting too warm.It’s been a couple months now and we haven’t had any issues.

Bought to convert a Dyna Glo charcoal smoker to electric. Couldn’t get past 150f on first try even with all vents closed. Decided to check temperature with another thermometer, looks like my thermometer on the smoker is off by 100f. So I’m giving this product at least a 4. It’s doing what I need it to do.
