These transfers are beautiful. I chose the ones I wanted and applied as per usual process. Took the transfer away, and panicked. The transfer was barely visible on my skin and could only see a shimmer of the outline. I checked the instructions, made sure I was using the correct side of the transfer and then came to the reviews to see if I had been conned. Only to see reviews saying you cannot see the transfer when applied. But then I re-read the product description saying that the transfer develops over time. So I thought I'd wait it out. I had applied it in the evening so went to bed and checked in the morning. I was pleasantly surprised! The transfer had darkened significantly and looked beautiful. THIS DOES TAKE TIME TO DEVELOP ONCE APPLIED. It's now been on for a week and has started to fade after daily showers, exfoliating and moisturising.Top tips - consider the 24 hour developing time when applying.I applied my not long before going to bed and some of the transfer had also developed on the top part of my arm where it had been bent. This did not smudge or affect the transfer in the intended area. But I've had to wait for this to fade as well as you can't scrub it off.

There is something about these temporary tattoos that isn't working correctly (or as advertised). Either the ink is faulty or wrong or they have printed on the wrong side of the paper - or there is some other issue. I'm not sure what but although the artwork is beautiful and the ink color is very strong on the product, when you transfer it to your skin it is almost invisible. It really is incredibly feint. As others have noted, the color is slightly darker the next day than on the first day but really nothing at all like the images on the product page. I'm returning them as faulty. I would be tempted to say that the images on Amazon are mis-selling as the outcome really is very different to what is shown. I thought perhaps others were exaggerating when they said how feint the outcome was but it really is poor. It's such a shame, the designs are really beautiful. But they definitely need to fix their quality issues.Update. The color definitely gets darker over 2-3 days. How my temporary tattoo looks now is fine. If it had looked like this on day 1 then I'd probably have kept them. But it is a bit of a worry why it is getting darker with time. Is it a photosensitive ink - not sure I want something chemically reacting on my body. Or is it chemically reacting with chemicals in my skin? Again, not sure I like that idea.So the one-star remains even though the designs are beautiful. I've returned them and requested a refund.

I love these temporary tattoos! I bought them to trace onto tattoo transfer paper so I can tattoo the designs permanently, so I can't comment on how well they transfer to the skin or how long they last if used in the suggested way, but for what I wanted them for, they're absolutely perfect!

Give it time and the temp tattoo will look good.Initially looks faint and poor BUT 24 hours later looks very good even next to real tattoos.Plan in advance if you want them to look good on a night out!

Don't stick to skin

Lasted about 2-3 weeks on the wrist. A lot longer than another temporary tattoo brand.

Was thinking of having a real tattoo but wanted to see how one would look on me so brought these as a tasterVery good, lasted a couple of weeks. Worth the money...make sure you read the instructions first

Absolutely rubbish- no instructions came- logged in on here to see what was wrong- apparently requires 24 hours developing time- it came off when in bed and never developed. Don’t waste your money
