I broke both of my ankles a few weeks ago. I was able to get my right ankle out of a boot and wanted to get an ankle brace to give it more stability while it continues to heal. I ordered 3 different types of braces and this, by far, was the hands-down winner. It was so easy to put on - don't have to deal with lacing it up each time I put it on. It is not very bulky so I am able to wear my normal tennis shoe with it. The other 2 braces I ordered were very bulky and I could not wear any of my shoes with them (was going to have to wear my husband's tennis shoe!). I like the side supports that come with this brace - makes me feel more stable as I "learn" to walk again on this foot. I ended up ordering another brace for my left ankle to use whenever I am able to get that one out of the boot. I wear an 8 1/2 shoe and the Large fit perfectly.

I’ve got weak ankles. I broke my right ankle for the 3rd time in January 2023. This time I agreed to surgery as it was broken in pieces.Activity that requires a lot of walking was hard for me. Still is, if I’m being honest, as I continue to experience pain, stiffness, and skin tenderness at the surgery site. I needed something that wasn’t going to rub it raw and provide the support I required.These braces are the best I’ve ever tried. (I’ve tried a lot!) I paired them with the pair of boots I purchased, which I reviewed already.The cinching in these is amazing. There are five places which use Velcro to secure it in place. Two separate lace straps, two crossover straps, and a top strap for around and above the actual ankle.They stay in place without any issues and they are absolutely comfortable to wear. When I pair them with the boots, I feel totally secure and can walk without having to stare at the ground or worry that I will fall.I did purchase two as the are sold individually. You can wear either one on either ankle. There is no “right or left”. The material is soft and breathes well. The construction is excellent and very good quality. They are not intrusive to my physical sensation issues, either. They really are quite comfortable.I would recommend these 10/10. I’ll absolutely purchase a second set in case these ever wear out. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Bought the black medium. I have a woman's 8 and a 1/2 shoe. Measurement around my ankle... As shown on chart. was 12 inches. The medium I bought was supposed to fit but, it did but laces were kind of short and I had to modify to make them work.Overall.This is a really nice well-designed support. The lace sizes are questionable but with extra velcroYou could make a lot of stuff work.My pediatric recommended this for a tendon issue that runs towards my big toe. She specifically pointed out this type because of the laces up style And the support plastic each sides of calf. Also, from the photos, it looks like this one is a bit slimmer than some of the other types. I was able to wear my tennis shoe with this.Nice stabilization. Makes you feel pretty indestructible.Would buy again.

Provides stability, comfortable to wear and easy to put on. What I needed following the removal of my surgical boot.

This has been great for my fractured ankle in the last stage of healing. It seems to keep my ankle from rolling sideways much better. I initially ordered a small since that was the size according to the measurements that I needed but when it came in, it was too tight so I sent it back and ordered a Medium. I thought it might have been due to the fracture but I tried the medium on my other foot and it still fit perfectly. So, the sizing seems to be off somewhat. The medium still can be laced up to fit or loosened out for swelling. Both of my ankles are weak due to frequent fractures (Avulsion type). If you are in the upper range in the measurement, I would suggest getting the next size up as I did. At least, it worked for me.

Even though I bought a large it barely fit me. I wear a women's size 9 1/2 - 10.I had to return it because I needed it to go on looser than it did.

Does an excellent job stabilizing my ankle. I am dealing with post-tibial tendinitis and I wear this brace when I dance. Seems to be doing the trick because I haven't had a flare up since I started using it a few weeks ago. I did get a wrap brace too and that's okay but this brace is far more supportive and worth the extra money.

Great Ankle Stabilizer! This product has been a fantastic aid for my ankle support. The speed laces are a game changer, making it incredibly quick and convenient to put on and adjust for a snug fit. I appreciate how easy it is to get ready for my activities without wasting time on complicated lacing.However, I do wish the side splints were a bit sturdier. They have a little too much give, which means they don’t hold the ankle in place as securely as I would like. While they provide some support, I feel like a more rigid design would enhance stability and confidence during movement.Overall, it’s a solid product that definitely serves its purpose, but with a few improvements to the splint design, it could be even more effective. If you're looking for an ankle stabilizer that’s easy to use, this is a great choice, just keep in mind the need for a bit more support
