Cats love this scratching post!
NEVER have I purchased an item for my kittens that compares to the reaction this scratching post received! As soon as I finished putting it together (which was quick and very easy, BTW) they were climbing it scratching on it, and WAY more excited by the 2 toys hanging from the top by elastic cord than I would have thought they would be. They turned it over twice the first day, which I think was from the cat sitting on top using a "pushing off" motion to jump down. No damage was done and it hasn't happened since then, so I assume they figured out how to avoid the issue. This post seems well made, although I would love for the base to be larger and thicker real wood rather than the material that's folded down the middle. I realize that would increase the price, but I think it would be worth it to most buyers. That said, out of all the scratching posts I've bought over the years, this one is the most loved and used by my cats. It's absolutely worth the price!

Big scratch post
My cat loves this scratch post, it is big enough for him to climb and he loves scratching his claws and stretching on it, it was easy to build, the one thing was the base folds in half making it a little tricky but nothing too bad. It is decently stable it wobbles a bit when my cat stands on top and jumps off but that is expected. He also loves hoping in top to play with the toys.

Great scratching post!
The scratching post will last a long time I purchased this post in August and it is now 5 months later. Our cat would go through a post a month when bought at Walmart or Petco. She is a very aggressive scratcher and it hasn’t even frayed! I like that it is tall too, that way she can stretch her full length and still be able to scratch as if she was scratching on a tree outside. The 2 hanging toys are long gone but the post is main perfect. Like another person who bought it said, it isn’t as sturdy as it may look. She jumped off the top and it fell over so we have to wedge it under some furniture so it doesn’t fall over but other than that it’s a perfect fit for her. It saves us money and protects the couch from being destroyed. I’m glad I bought it.

She likes it
It’s a pretty good scratching post. I wouldn’t say it’s suuuper heavy duty, she jumped off the top once and it fell over and she’s a small-average sized cat. So maybe not the best option if you have big cats. I wish the base was heavier and more sturdy, but of course for the price you get cheap plywood. Overall it’s pretty good though, the sisal rope is real and good quality and she loves sitting on the perch. I don’t want to spend a lot of money on a scratching post just for my cat to tear it up so I think the price is pretty fair. And it was easy to put together.

Scratching post
I don’t know why it’s been so hard to find a decent scratching post for my cats in the last year, but I finally found one. The last two I had were not sisal material, and neither lasted a full year with my two scratch-crazy cats. But this one I’ve had about two or three months and it’s already holding up better than those two did. It’s easy to put together, and my cats used it right away. It is quite large, but I like the design. There’s basically two sections for my cats, so they can either scratch the bottom or stretch up and scratch the top. And they love the toys attached to it. So far it only fell over once, and in defense of the company, it was my large chonk of a cat who did it (she’s almost 14 pounds). But it was only once, so I think she learned her lesson!

Purrrfect!
Excellent, good quality cat tree! The height is perfect for my cat who likes to reach up to the top and play with the dangling toys on it. Stability is good, although my cat has played roughly with it. I did have to tighten some of the screws after his play time. Little assembly required.

A wise purchase
This scratching post is constructed of a much sturdier rope. My cats love using it as they can stretch their bodies out by scratching and also playing with the attached toys on top post. I also love it too as it has stopped one of my cats who had begun scratching the carpet.
