Barron's AP Psychology with Online Tests Eighth Edition

So funny story, I signed up for the Psych exam and self-studied (meaning I didn't take any psychology class to prepare) but I didn't actually open any Psychology material until like 3 days before the exam. Up until that point, the only Psych material I knew was from like 1 or 2 crash course videos I had half-watched. Anyway, I crammed a total of like 230ish pages (reading every single sentence, highlighting, memorizing, and taking every practice quiz) in about 2 and a half days. It took be about 16 hours total, which isn't too bad if you spread it out over 2 weeks. I thought I would be screwed for waiting until last minute but the exam felt very good. Just about everything on the exam, I had seen in the Prep book and I see myself getting a 5 most likely, probably a 4 in the worst case scenario.TLDR: It's literally the only thing you need to prep for the exam and get a 5. If you read everything, do the practice quizzes and review the questions you get wrong, you should be fine.Update: I ended up getting a 4 which I suppose isn’t bad for only 3 days of studying. If I were to do it again, I would’ve studied the parts of the brain more; it was in the prep book but I didn’t think the exam would have such a strong emphasis on it. I’m going to Princeton now anyway and they don’t accept the AP Psych exam either way so I’m not too concerned.Good luck guys!

I bought the book to study for the 2019 AP Test. At first I had heard that it was just the same as an average textbook, but I got it and it is but that makes it better. Everything you need to know for the test is summarized in here without unnecessary information. I should’ve bought it earlier in the school year. I have no regrets because what was on here is on the test. The practice tests definitely help because they tend to be harder than the ones on the AP which makes taking the AP easier.

I absolutely loved using this Barrons book as a resource! It has so much useful information, and is a really great studying tool. I got a 5 on the 2020 AP Psychology exam, and I couldn’t have done it without this book. I also highly recommend the Myers’ Psychology textbook for AP. This textbook is an extremely useful resource, and is almost exactly like this Barrons book, but is more in depth with the information and psychology related works.

So I am an AP Psychology student and I need to prepare for the exam in May. This book is perfect for preparation for the AP psych exam. It covers every chapter in the required material and has practice multiple choice test. I recommend this book if you want to pass the exam.

This book allowed me to do very well on the AP exam. The study questions and the content was very effective. I would recommend to anyone studying for the exam or even taking psychology in college.
