The battery was a good fit. The tools were nice. The screwdriver was much nicer than other kits I've used. So far battery life is as good as the original.

The kit worked out well. Included tools coupled with patience proved very gelpful. Phone is now as good as new.

I bought my Moto G 5G 2022 directly. After about 18 months, the battery went bonkers. I decided to replace the phone as I didn't want to rely on my skills of replacing the battery without breaking the phone. But once the new phone was set up, there was no point in not giving this a whirl.Even with my big hands and mediocre dexterity I was able to replace the battery. There are many videos available of dissembling the phone. They help. There was a nice site with step by step instructions on replacing the battery. I was my main go to. Search for "moto g 5g 2022 battery replacement".If you try this as an amateur, go slow. I set out a mat and did it while I watched a hockey game. No rushing. The slow speed is particularly crucial on the battery. It is glued in tight. It probably took me 30 minutes of slowing pushing the guitar pick in under the battery. Once it's out, the rest is easy.After assembly, the phone fired right up. It seems to be holding a charge well. Now I have to decide what to do with it.The instructions in my package did not match my phone and the included screw driver did not fit the screws in my phone. Buyer beware on that front.I'll update if I notice anything unusual.

Just installed so no run-time yet.Installed on moto g 2021 stylus 6.8" screen. Perfect fit.Printed instructions ok but watch YouTube examples for your phone will help the most.Install tips:-have your old battery as close to zero charge as possible. Turn phone off-remove sim cardBack cover glued around edges with a silicone like adhesive. I used a hair dryer to warm an edge then found my fingernail the best to get the cover up slightly. I then inserted the guitar pick tools as I went slowly around the edges...heating as I went.11 screws for the inside bracket...the included tool was perfect and slightly magnetic to capture tiny screws.The tool with the bent pick end was used to pry up the ribbon battery cable connector. Go slow lifting around its edges a little at a time as you pry it up to lift off the connector.The battery is double sided adhesive tape stuck in the phone. Use the black plastic wedge to slowly pry it up, heating the battery makes it easier. Use anything metal to pry the battery at your own risk. (I got a little smoke from my jewelers screwdriver. bad on me)Battery out, use double sided tape strips included on inner side of battery. Easier to put on battery than inside phone.It's best to connect the battery cable before you insert the battery because it's easier to align the connector. The connector will slightly "pop in" when it is aligned correctly. Now press the battery in place.Reassemble the phone top plate ...11 screws.Test your phone, my battery came with a 16% charge.For the back cover... First, Make sure the antenna wire is tucked into the white groove, away from the outer edge.The old cover adhesive was stickey enough on my phone to hold the back cover well and, since my phone goes into an outer shell, I did not re-glue the back cover. It will never be an issue for me because of the outer phone case holding everything in place.So far, so good. They say to deep discharge and full charge 3 times to maximize the batteries charge memory. Off we go....

This battery is still working great. After installing it, it's still going strong. A month so far and strong as when I installed it.

This kit did the job on my Moto Z4 and after a full charge to 100%, back to 2 solid days of battery.....it's been a long time since I was able to claim that on my phoneTook all but 15 minutes to remove the screen and replace the battery.The only issue I had was the small torx screwdriver did not work to remove the screw on the battery connector clamp. I had to use my own tool.I will now be keeping my Z4 a few more years, until 4G is no longer supported, and will replace my battery every year now with this kit.If you do this, and do NOT change the screen, have screen adhesive on hand.
