Previously had six remotes... not just one sleek remote.
Spent an evening setting it up the way I wanted, I now have it controlling Philips TV, Marantz AV Receiver, Nvidia Shield (Bluetooth), BENQ projector and Freesat box. It is a reasonably intuitive setup process via a phone app. Don’t be scared about getting things wrong, you can always go back and delete devices or tweak device settings when you discover what they are actually for. Found that turning off all HDMI-CEC control between devices (that I previously relied on) made things a lot easier… trust in the remote! One exception was leaving Nvidia power to be done via HDMI-CEC from the AV Receiver as the Nvidia does not have separate power on/off commands, this resulted in a bit of confusion as the X1 can not tell the power state of the Nvidia Shield. However, it is all very easy to customise and there are a lot of options there. I love the fact you can add your favourite buttons or build macros that are displayed on the X1 screen relative to what activity you have chosen. Once setup the X1 is a simple, good looking and very functional remote. Full IFTTT integration would be a welcome addition, could then control my blinds and lights scenes... hopefully that will be added someday.

Wouldn’t Work
Only 3 stars because it wouldn’t connect to some devices, it was to replace a Harmony system so I knew how to connect devices, shame as it looks and feels good quality so it may work on other people’s devices

The worst remote ever.
This has to be borderline the worst money ever spent. It has little to no features and barely works with little amount it has, the middle wheel doesn't even work half the time. Unfortunately refund time has gone. So the only thing I'm left with is a 180£ paper weight. It's hard not to feel robbed when you purchase something for this price being this bad quality.

Great piece of kit
The other reviews do not do this remote justice. It’s well engineered, easy to set up and feels relatively premium in the hand. It’s also very customisable - I suspect will require a bit of patience to refine it so that I can lock away all the other remotes for good…. and expensive vs all the simple options, but delivers the same for a lot less money and unreliability than (say) a Control 4 setup, and which I have also specified and owned previously and (thankfully), sold with our last house!

Clunky to set up, but works well
Felt obligated to write a review of my experience. Wanted to replace my Samsung one remote (I have a Samsung frame and one control box) that I could also use with my Sky Q box. The Sky Q set up was pretty quick and easy, but the Samsung set up was a bit fiddly. I have set up two “activities” to control both the TV and Sky Q box, plus shortcuts to the Netflix app and Amazon app on the TV. I’ve also got it synced to my Hue Lights Hub and have also managed to create routines for my smart lighting.Irritations about the remote are that the instructions and set up guides are abysmal. I had to resort more than once to YouTube and other user experiences on the internet. It’s overly sensitive. A button press on the directional wheel around the main central button can be recognised as two pushes, when you’ve only pressed it once. Not a major problem, but irritating all the same. The handset, whilst well made, doesn’t feel premium. It’s plasticy and very “clicky”. The tactile nature of the button pushes will suit some, but it feels cheap to me, especially for the price point.Overall, I’m fairly pleased with it. It does what I wanted and does it relatively well. I was never a Logitech harmony user, so can’t compare, but for now, this does the job. I just wished it was a little more “premium” feeling and had a wider smart home integration (I’d love to be able to control my blinds etc) and better Sonos integration. The screen could be much better utilised than it is. It’s largely useless as a Sonos controller other than start / stop / volume up / volume down / skip.Biggest gripe however is lack of number input. Makes parental codes a touch challenging. I’m sure there a solution, but i can’t find it! I’ll be back off to the internet shortly…Good, but huge room for improvements across wider smart home integrations and design.

Thank you SofaBaton - really never thought would beat my Harmony -- but you have
I've been a long-time Logitech Harmony user but with Logitech dropping, and my harmony battery life crashing, I have bought this after many reviews read. And wow -- for me it is great, and I have quite a few devices (multiple amps, separates, AV kit, xbox games console, etc) and all have been covered and all work beautifully. There is a need to read the 'check the status of ...' messages eg power or inputs as it will get out of sync, but once I'd faithfully done that all is well.A great remote - including ergonomics - and having charged the remote after setup via mobile app to the hub, battery is still nearly full and really very happy. Thank you to SofaBaton!--Couple of weeks in and lives up to expectations. Strongly recommended.

Decent remote, but incredibly expensive for what it is.
I bought and set this up for someone and it works well, but I feel it was very overpriced for what it does.

Complex to setup
If you have multiple media devices like I do, including an IR Switcher, Sofabaton is complicated to setup. The remote itself is to a good standard, however the small LED display is quite basic. If you are willing to spend hours and hours researching youtube, forums etc to try and get the remote working effectively, then it may possibly kinda work. Returning the item as its taking way to much time and effort. Does it work with Alexa, no it doesn't.
