I bought a new case for my phone with the magsafe ring on the back and my old magnetic car mount would not hold it. The 3M tape holds really well and I left it overnight. It held my phone with no problem and fit in the little spot on my dash. I drove for about 2 hours on NY roads and the phone held firm with hardly any shaking and did not drop. Very happy with my purchase.

Love this mount for my phone. I already had a phone holder that clipped on my rearview mirror, but the grip for the phone was the clunky spring grip type that took two hands to use. Since it also had a ball type attachment, I was able to replace that mount with this one by taking this off the base piece. It works so much better! I just put my phone on it, and it instantly sticks. I slide it a bit to the side, and it releases. The magnet has the perfect amount of hold. My iPhone did not have MagSafe, but I purchased a case on Amazon that does, so I am enjoying the benefits of a MagSafe mount. Very happy with this purchase!

I used this mount in two vehicles: A 2020 CR-V and a 2003 Ford F-250.In both instance I had to carefully look for a good mounting point. If you have to remove and remount this thing it will degrade its stickiness.The magnet is exceedingly strong and works well with the protective case for my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Unlike other mounts I've had before, there is no jiggling or looseness. The phone is held solidly and securely.I did have a bit of an issue mounting this in my CR-V, and ended up using a corner of the glass center display. We have a long road trip coming up. I'm glad to have a secure place for my phone.

Mount itself is solid and clamps well, does not stick onto the interior of W205 C class Mercedes cars due to not having any flat surfaces to stick on.

Very strong magnet that can handle my iPhone 13 even with the case on. I made a custom mount for my Porsche Boxster and this worked perfectly.

I like the aluminum body of this, is nice and solid. I also like locking mechanism, locks securely but allows for readjustment in the future if I desire.What I didn't like was the 3M adhesive pad that came with this. Like others, I followed the directions to a T and then added more time for this to sit applied overnight. Still popped right off the next morning. I get the sense these might've been sitting in a warehouse for awhile and the adhesive is past its shelf life.I had read the other reviews and so ordered a small bottle of "primate" gel glue (I don't want to name the other product, but it eats bananas), which has worked extremely well to date several months later.I was on the fence about whether to give a 3 or a 4 star review, but decided lower to avoid giving someone else a bad day who didn't read that more is needed for the product to work as advertised.Overall I would still buy again.
