Snug as a bug!
Bought these to go in my Altra hiking shoe for a trip to Norway (in feb)...I needn't have worried about getting cold feet, these bad-boys kept my toes warm and comfortable in minus temps!Brilliant value, cut easily against my standard insole, and stood up well to the Norwegian elements.

Thick and warm. Simply the best AND THEY'RE BRITISH!
Beautifully thick and warm inner soles that I needed to down to the right size. Wide enough to fill the boot unlike other sheepskin versions. These don’t flatten down and they’re so comfortable. Great value.

No more cold feet
I chucked these bad boys into my boots, and let it's like walking on clouds made of coziness. When you first slap these insoles in, be warned – you might get a bit of shedding action. The Herdwick felt is so fresh and fluffy that it likes to show off a bit in the beginning. It's like your insoles are getting rid of a winter coat. But fear not, after a few weeks, they settle down, and the shedding business calms itself. It's like breaking in a pair of fuzzy socks – a bit of fuzz, a lot of warmth.Slippin' these insoles into my boots is a piece of cake. They're like little cushions that nestle perfectly, and they don't play hard to get. It took me about a minute to upgrade my footwear game to ultimate snugness. Now, let's talk warmth. These insoles are like having a personal heater for your feet. The Herdwick felt is some kind of natural insulator, and my feet have never experienced such warmth, even on the coldest days. It's like my boots are giving my feet a big, woolly bear hug.And about durability – they're tough cookies, but they do a bit of a squish dance after some use. I'm about 70kg, and after a few weeks of stomping around, they compressed a bit. But here's the thing, they're still holding up fine after a few long hikes in the Peak District. It's like they've adapted to my feet – a bit of compression, but the coziness is still top-notch.The best part? No more ice-cube feet when I'm out and about. Whether I'm on a chilly walk or just hanging around, these insoles are my secret weapon against cold feet. If you're after warmth, comfort, and a touch of luxury for your feet, the Men's Snug Feet Herdwick Felt Boot Insoles are the business. Get them and thank me later. Cheers to toasty toes!

Excellent - may be a good barefoot shoe insole too
Absolutely amazing. As described, feels like walking on a wood carpet, gives a lovely bit of cushion but not loads of spring, so your foot isn't bouncing around inside your shoe.I wear a size 11, and these went straight into a pair of barefoot African Rangers, from Jim Green. They fit like a glove, no trimming was needed, and they fill the ebtiretyof the barefoot style footbed. They give you enough material that you can trim them to fit pretty much any size. I will say, if you wear anything larger than an 11 in a wide toed last boot or shoe, these may not be big enough, but they might be. I think they might not be the right shape for something like a Vivobarefoot, where the toebox is really wide and very different to traditional shoe and boot last shapes.

Definite Worth it
Needed some insoles for my size 12 timbalands these are ideal. Was travelling to Warsaw at Christmas with loads of snow. Last year went woefully under-prepared wasn’t going to make the same mistake twice so invested in Timberlands but they are slightly too big for me.After I arrived at my hotel. I unpacked and put the insoles inside my boots. Then when I put my foot in, it felt amazing, perfect fit, nice and snug with this lovely cushy carpet fill under my foot. I walked around outside in the snow my feet were snug, cosy and warm. I cannot say enough good things about these insoles and highly recommend them to anybody who wants to keep their feet snug and warm.

Lovely and comfortable, but not durable
I loved these when I first put them into my slippers to supplement the slippers' worn-out fleecy lining. They were soft, warm, and very comfortable! Unfortunately, they turned out not to be very durable: the material is of quite a 'loose' construction, which began to fall apart within a couple of weeks. Eventually, after a week or so of picking clumps of loose material out of my slippers and off the floor, I gave up and put the insoles in the bin. I am still looking for a suitable replacement.

The squish will compress over time, but they add a lovely cosy insulation layer!
Title says it all, really. Loved these so much I bought another pair for double cosy house shoes! Good thick layer of wool that's actually quite soft even under bare feet. It compresses with regular wear, but provides a really lovely layer of warm insulation.

I will be buying more
Second pair I've bought. Excellent purchase. Keeps feet dry and at correct temperature.
