It works
I bought it to make beef jerky. I made beef jerky for the first time today, and it took 9 hours for the beef jerky to dehydrate. I guess my beef jerky was cut a little too thick (it was a little more than 1/4 an inch). Honestly, I was confused because it took a long time, especially since I cooked the beef in my air fryer-oven before putting it in the dehydrator. Before using, make sure to wash all the containers, run it on high for 30 minutes, which is about 158°, then wash it again before deciding to use it. Will I be making beef jerky all the time, no because it takes too long. Will I ever buy Store bought beef jerky again? Most likely, no. Because the one I made actually tastes much better than the ones I have been buying. I plan to make a giant batch of beef jerky once every six months or once every three months. If you don’t have patience, please don’t buy this machine because it takes a very long time. If you want to make things like jerky, I would say just turn on the machine at 6 PM in the evening, depending on how much you have, set the timer for however, long you’re going to need, I would say somewhere between 3 to 48 hours, and forget about it. If you’re impatient, hoping that it will quickly dehydrate, it’s not going to happen. You have to forget about this dehydrator while it’s working, and set an alarm clock on your phone to remind you to remember to check it. Anyway, for someone with little patients like me, I checked the dehydrator about 10 times. I almost wanted to return it but, it worked so I am keeping it.

Works, but taste like plastic.
This works great, but I washed it with soap and water like it says and it still made everything taste like plastic. I then put the trays through the dish washer and it helped some. Hopefully a few more washes will get rid of the taste.

Drying Delights: My Foray into Homemade Snacks
I recently ventured into the world of food dehydration with this nifty gadget, and it's been a game-changer. The adjustable temperature settings (95ºF to 158ºF) and 48-hour timer make it versatile for drying everything from fruits to herbs. One weekend, I got a bit carried away and dehydrated enough apple slices to feed a small village—note to self: moderation is key! However, the five trays, while ample, can be a bit tricky to clean if you're working with sticky fruits.Overall, this dehydrator is a fantastic addition to any kitchen, perfect for those looking to craft healthy, homemade snacks with ease.

Works as described
If I had to complain about one thing, it would be that this feels a little cheap... but that describes most appliances these days. I'm actually using this as a 3D printing filament dryer. A standard 5 gallon bucket fits perfectly onto it upside down, and with a few holes drilled for airflow in the bottom of the bucket it works brilliantly and much better than cheapo dedicated filament dryers.

Budget friendly but get a top mount heater trust me
Takes way longer than the other one I have that's 12 years old, the motor on bottom isn't good feature make sure you run it couple hours before use to get the stink out of it!
