Bought this solely to use to connect my Amazon Firestick to my PC and it worked straight away so not bad for £6.99, the last one I bought did exactly same ting but that cost me £15.99 but only lasted about a year, or so I thought. I ordered this one and swapped over from the old one because it stopped working but when I plugged this one in it still wouldn't work, turned out to be my Amazon Firestick cable that wasn't working, but not to worry, I'll keep it anyhow and I'll use on my other firestick on my laptop

When my old computer with a firewire connection died, I had no way to retrieve quality video from my camcorder. I purchased a RCA to HDMI converter cheaply on Amazon and also ordered this capture card. One plugged into the other and I achieved some surprisingly good results. This capture card is compact and easy to use - just plug and play. I was capturing my camcorder videos in no time at all. Well worth the money, I highly recommend this product.

I can't believe it actually works. I assumed I'd have to spend a lot more money for a capture card, but I bought this as a risk and it actually does work! And worked first time for me on Mac OS. Literally plugged in, opened OBS, configured OBS, and saw my camera. Really fantastic for the price. The FPS did look a little less than 25p/50i to my eyes, BUT I was also running a few other programs that could have been lagging out my laptop. Also I can't vouch for long term reliability. I used it for 3 straight days a week after I bought it. If it breaks soon I might delete this review, but so far very amazed for how small and cheap it is. For context I was running 1920x1080 50i.

I got this to transfer a really old vhs onto my computer for a backup.I plugged it into a component to hdmi adapter (For the vhs), and then into this, into my computer. And it worked, no issue. Audio is fine, lag is barely perceptible when I tested it with my ps4.No complaints here, at all.

Works, Plug and play.Great for the price.Lasted 11 months then failed to be recognised. Tried 2 pcs and a laptop to be sure it was the capture card.Nothings built to last nowadays unfortunately.Have ordered another as I know this works for my son.

Installed in seconds on my Windows 10 PC with Plug and Play and ready to go! This super little gadget actually does the job of capturing HDMI video really well. It can even be used with the standard 'Camera' app that comes with Windows. Picture quality is excellent, but audio is captured at mono 16-bit 96000 Hz. If that's not a problem, then I highly recommend this little marvel! Despite being designed for USB 3.0 inputs, it does a very good job of capturing video via USB 2.0. Overall, a great little bit of kit!

Bought this capture usb to transfer my old vhs tapes and works great don’t be put off by cheap price as works great.Download OBS and select source as video capture device, start the recording and pressed play on vhs player .I’m using a scary to hdmi converter also which was cheap also from amazon

The product sends video at a good qualityWorks with obs but has a slight delayNot very major but if you play a high intensity game through it I would get a hdmi splitters too as its definitely will put the game off
