Q: Were the mushrooms hot water extracted?

Unsure of that but I’ve tried this supplement for two months,have not noticed any appreciable difference in the way I feel...will not be reordering.

Q: Have the recall issues been resolved and is this product safe to purchase again?

I got in touch with the factory and they say that the notice that Amazon sent was in error. And that there product was not involved in any recall. also if you went to FDA site and read the recall the company and address that was involved in recall doesn't match so I would say it is safe for consumption. been using for 5 weeks so far without a problem : )

Q: Is this product sourced from China?

That shouldn't matter much - this is because the Chinese have been cultivating medicinal mushrooms for hundreds of years, and this product is certified organic -- so there shouldn't be any contaminants. BUT the best way to answer your question is to call the company and request testing info which would show all contaminants, pesticides, heavy metals, etc.

Q: From which countries are the mushrooms sourced?

Shouldn't matter as long as the testing is on-point for contaminants, heavy metals, etc. Unless your goal is to support US-based companies, which I would support.
