(Updated review) Great buy!!
The only part of the post that arrived was the post. The parts in front (where the mailbox sits) and the rear (where you add decorative items) was not included. The post was very light in weight and feels cheap.I already started the refund process. The delivery was pretty fast, which is the only reason I won’t rate it 1 ⭐️Edit: 5/22/23 I take back my previous statement. The missing parts were delivered in a separate box, a day or two later. I initially wanted to return the item, but upon receiving the other parts, I decided to give it a chance.Turns out, it’s actually pretty nice. I was unaware that a wooden post would need to be planted into the ground, and that the post is more of a cover. My landscaper took care of cementing the wooden post into the ground and I took care of the rest. My wife loves it and will be adding decorations and the final touches.Overall, I give the product 5 ⭐️

Mailbox post w flower box
Love it came out beautiful the trick is to cement the wooden post in a bucket and then put it in the ground for sturdiness easy to put together highly recommend for an elegant look at the curb my mailman even likes it 💕

GREAT LOOKING polyethylene mailpost with attached planter
The planter looks great and seems to be a high quality plastic and well made. It took overall two days due to cementing the post into the ground and letting it dry overnight. We sunk the post deep enough to make the overall mailbox opening height to be easy for our postman to open the mailbox while sitting in his truck. We have an aluminum mailbox that weighs 20 pounds and it's easily supported. We did buy stainless steel screens and used those instead of the galvanized that the post came with. We also sunk in two extra screws to the back of the post and on the arm that the mailbox sits on. It's as solid as can be. We also purchased the additional solar light kit for the top of the post and it also easily installed. On another posts suggestion we did wrap the inside area with the shiny side of aluminum foil, although I don't know if it was really necessary. The light shines nicely all night, and the solar cell activates even on a cloudy day. Overall, this turned out really nice, was fairly simple to install and we have no complaints. We didn't want to deal with maintenance of live plants so I put in some silk flowers.

Easy to assemble, looks great
We purchased this post to replace our old aluminum post which had been pushed over by plows during a blizzard. Let me first say that we are not handy people. The post came in two boxes and is a very lightweight plastic material. Assembly was simple, but we were unfortunately missing one of the necessary specialty screws (a lag nut). I was able to purchase one locally ($1) and also needed to buy an attachment to use it with our drill ($2). There are holes in the arms indicating where the screws go, but there are no marks on the post. We were able to line it all up easily enough. Note that this does not come with the mounting hardware for the mailbox, so we purchased a generic mounting plate when we picked out our mailbox at the local hardware store. The arm that holds the box seems sturdy enough and does have a piece of wood inside it so you are not just attaching to plastic. There is a good size drain hole in the deepest part of the planter so I think that will be fine for flowers. Overall it was easy to assemble and looks more expensive than it was. Hopefully it holds up well.
