So far everything working fine and easy to fit.

I bought this thermostat to fix a Stoves oven that was getting too hot and burning food. A third of the price of the 'official' replacement part, yet this thermostat had exactly the same make and part number as the original one it replaced. The only awkward part of the installation was just knowing which oven panels needed removing to access where the until then hidden thermostat wire was routed.It's been installed for a couple of months now, has been working perfectly, and "her indoors" is well pleased with her oven (and with me :-)

I bought this as a generic replacement for our obscure brand fan oven. It really was a mistake as although the unit looks identical to the original, I failed to spot that the stated temperature range was 50-320C, not 50-250C as our oven is. However I decided it was so reasonable in value (some spares companies are charging £20+ and delivery on top) I would fit it anyway and see what happened. Lo and behold it works perfectly! It will be interesting to see how long it lasts. If you have not changed a thermostat before I would urge you to watch a YouTube video, however as long as you have a screwdriver it really is something most people would be able to undertake quite easily without having to pay someone to do it for them.

Fitted this to my 4 oven oil fired Aga to replace original thermostat. Worked for a few days but after that Aga failed to reach operating temperature due to this faulty thermostat. Resistance between. terminals when "calling for heat" had risen to 45 ohms (should obviously be < 1ohm). preventing adequate current flow to activate "high fire" state. Very cheap, had gone past return window so consigned to bin. Aga part very expensive by comparison, but as the original lasted 20 years, I fully expect the OEM replacement to do the same.

This thermostat is working perfectly and has been superb value. One thing that I found was that the flat side of the knob spindle needed to be on the top the opposite way round to the other knobs
