Makes learning new vocabulary fun and memorable!
I bought this game for our family after my daughter saw it at a homeschool convention and asked me to get it. Both of my kids were hooked after one time of playing and now ask to play it regularly. It’s still a bit over the head of my just turned-7-year-old, but that doesn’t keep him from wanting to play, and I like that it’s something that he can “grow into”. My 10-year old does beautifully with it though, so I would agree with the “Ages 8+” recommendation on the box. It’s a fun (and often funny) way to introduce new vocabulary and get your kids to use it. I appreciate the 3-tiered leveling of the cards, because it allows players of different ages and ability levels to play together. I enjoy playing it as an adult and find it challenging too, and I think that it would be a fun “ice breaker” for a teen group (or even at a dinner party with other game-loving adults) as a way to get the conversation started and keep it going!Down the road I would love to see the game’s creator make some additional “menu” (question) cards and “appetizer/entree/dessert” (vocabulary) cards that could be purchased separately as an optional add in, because if you play the game often enough the words will get repeated. But on the other hand, that’s not a bad thing, since the more often you hear the words and use them, the more your vocabulary will grow, and the more likely the words will make their way into your daily conversation!

Fantastic family fun, and educational!
Our family loves this game. We love the open-ended play and our kids (and us!) are already learning new words. We are also learning really funny things about them! Really gets everyone talking. The rules are simple and easy to follow and since the words have three different levels, all ages can play together. Gameplay is simple, choose a topic from the cute restaurant-themed menu cards and use your words in conversation. There are no winners or losers in this game. Just use as many or all of the word cards in conversation and have fun learning something new along the way. This game is now in our vacation game rotation!

Fun vocabulary game
We found this game at a convention and were excited by all of the games this creator had developed. This was one of 3 education enhancing games we bought from them.We found it challenging and fun. We find it best to play in small sessions, so it would be perfect to keep on the dining room table for a quick round right before dinner. We have not yet gotten to the dessert cards because we find the appetizer and entrees cards to be challenging enough.

Excellent casual dinnertime learning activity/convo starter
At the end of the day when everybody finally sits down to dinner, sometimes the part of your brain that wants to engage with others is just spent. I've typically used "tell me about a rose/thorn/bud from your day" to get some kind of dinnertime conversation happening. This box of cards makes kindling the conversation a lot easier, while also adding a learning element. Went over well with my kids. I've got a five year gap between oldest and youngest, so the game for my 16yo was to try to make a sentence with his entire hand when we played with the entree cards. Pretty funny (wish I'd written down the sentences!)
