Pour some out onto a cotton round or facial cleansing cloth and gently wipe your makeup away. I highly recommend beginning with your eye makeup, since that will usually take the most time, if you're wearing the whole "shabang" - eyeshadow, liner, mascara, brow powder/pencil, etc. Using both sides of the pad or cloth, wipe off (always in a gentle and upward motion) your face makeup, sunscreen, dirt, oil and all of the other nasties that have made themselves at home on our skin. Afterwards, I suggest washing all areas of your face again with a regular/typical facial cleanser of your choice. Please remember that although the bottle says "No Rinsing Necessary" - it's still very important to make sure that you've gotten every little bit of sunscreen, sweat, dirt, oil and makeup residue completely off of your skin with a second, gentle and also effective cleanser that is appropriate for your skin type.

Q: Can this be used as a face wash or is it just for makeup removal?

Wherher a product lathers or not doesn’t mean it makes a good face wash. I read a comment saying “doesn’t lather, so not good as face wash”. Something that lathers a lot usually contains sulfates; sulfates are not good for your skin. A face wash is something that removes dirt, sweat and other residue from your face leaving it clean. I think a lot of people are just used to a feeling* so they think cleanser needs to foam, froth or lather. A natural product will barely suds up at all! I’ll be buying this to wash my face as regular cleansers, even the most gentle, dry out my skin!

Absolutely, I use it every am to cleanse my face instead of soap or facial cleaners that lather and dry my skin. Noxema to cleanse at night after micellar to remove makeup.
