I'd been running my Mac Pro audio through a 40-year old Sony AV amp that, in it's time, was top-of-the-shelf. The amp was driving a set of Bose 161 bookshelf speakers and a Sony SA-WM200 powered sub. Given the age of the amp, I lost the left channel and rather than pay the high price of a repair (est $200 or >) and the fact the cost would exceed the price I paid for it in the late 80's, I decided to look for a lower cost alternative. I first tried the FOSI BT30D-S and for reasons I am unable to determine, I ended up with a loud 60-Hz ground loop hum that I could not get rid of. I am an IATSE sound tech and feel that I have a decent grasp of audio techniques but I was stumped.After returning the FOSI to Amazon (with no hassles and a refund in my account in 3 days), I did some further research online and saw several recommendations for the Arylic B50SE and took the plunge. I am literally stunned at the quality of its output. It's crystal clear and while the low-end was a little overbearing when I first got things running, the iPhone app allowed tweaking the frequencies and after a matter of a minute or two, the little guy is cranking as well as the Sony did.Needless to say, I am one happy camper and I highly recommend this if you need a tiny footprint to meet your audio amp needs. I've seen some online posts that say it may fall short with a larger set of speakers but no doubt the powered subwoofer adds greatly to its speaker response and at least in my case, it drives the Bose speakers beautifully. Got this to replace my older Klipsch powergate for my computer and so far it's been great! Sound quality is on par and it's able to drive my Polk LSIM bookshelves without any problems. I really wanted this one because of the sub out option which was very hard to find a few years back. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for better sound options at a reasonable price.

I power some 4ohm dayton speakers in my sauna with this unit. Sounds nice. If you can get the app to connect it has some tuning features and a cross over option. I wouldn't attempt anything but 4ohm speakers as it wont handle getting to 11.

Its good! Has a real sub out with crossover and not just a line out. Although the power rating is sus, its good enough if you need to drive a small set of bookshelves for nearfield listening. I wouldn't use it for towers, I would go with Ayima 07 for that. Has a built in DAC so you can run optical or usb from your source. Good stuff Arylic

Hadn’t heard of this brand before. But took a chance and I’m sure glad I did. I sold stereo equipment back in the late 70s early 80s and preferred the classic sound. But the sound of this amp is impressive. Happy with my purchase.

Unit works well! Had a unit from another manufacture and if you went out side, you would not be able to stream your music from outside were my speakers are. But this unit, man the bluetooth range is just great! Was at home across street and still able to keep connected and stream my music! Only reason for not more stars, the IOS software is a bit clunky to use. Other than being able to remotely turn up and down the volume, is not to useful.
