Nice compact but adequate unit. Not ce size for 2 people. Only 1.5 litre so not heating too much oil each time. Nice for chips. Variable temp so can be used to confit.

Only worked the first time when we got it out the second time the fryer would not receive any power. The lights didn't come on and it would not heat up.

Perfect size for me

Heats up quickly and fries stuff. Doesn't take up too much room on the work top.I like the fact that it has a lip on one of the corners to assist with emptying the oil out.I don't like:1. It is very difficult to attach the handle to the basket in the first place and impossible then to detach it. (I want to detach it so I can store it inside the basket when the fryer is not in use. Otherwise it sticks out and takes up more room.2. There is nowhere to store the cable when the fryer isn't in use so it just sits there in a tangled up mess. If I were a designer of electrical appliances, creating a way of tidying the cable would be on e of the first things I did!3. The lid does not fit firmly - it can be moved from side to side and back and forth - very irritating especially when in the process of storing it in the cupboard - you more or less have to move it separately because otherwise it will fall off.4. The lights are counter-intuitive. It shows a red light to indicate that the power is attached and shows a green light while it is heating up - then the green light goesoff when it has reached the required temperature. This doesn't seem right - to my mind there should be a green light to show the power is on and a red light to show when it's heating up.So, on the whole, it cooks ok but it irritates me - wish I had bought a different one.

Lobe this, my son is ASD and will only eat very crispy chips. This does exactly that. It's easy to clean, heats up fairly quickly and is good value for money. It's also lightweight. The lid provides safety to stop the oil splashing. The quality is also good, I would of liked the handle to tuck in but it isn't a massive issue.

I had a round one and replaced it with this rectangular one it fits so much more in it. Works well looks good I recommend this lovely product for a couple. Too small for a family but brilliant size for 1 or 2 people
