TSA friendly sunscreen
As someone who spends a lot of time outdoors, having a reliable sunscreen is essential, and the Oars + Alps Hydrating SPF 50 Sunscreen Spray has quickly become my go-to choice. Here’s my detailed review after using this product extensively on my trip to PR.Packaging and ConvenienceThe sunscreen comes in a TSA-friendly 1.87 oz spray bottle, making it perfect for travel. The packaging is sleek and easy to hold, and the spray nozzle delivers a fine mist that allows for even application. I appreciate the compact size, which fits easily into my beach bag or backpack without taking up too much space.ApplicationThe spray formula is incredibly user-friendly. It goes on smoothly without feeling greasy, and it absorbs quickly into the skin. Unlike some other sunscreens that leave a white cast, this one blends in nicely, making it suitable for various skin tones. I love how I can easily reapply it throughout the day without feeling weighed down or sticky.PerformanceWith SPF 50 protection, I feel confident that my skin is well-protected from harmful UV rays. The sunscreen is also water and sweat resistant, which is crucial for my outdoor activities, whether I’m hiking, swimming, or playing sports. I've tested it during hot and humid days, and it held up remarkably well, providing long-lasting protection without frequent reapplication.Hydration and IngredientsInfused with Vitamin C and antioxidants, this sunscreen not only protects but also hydrates the skin. I’ve noticed that my skin feels softer and more nourished after using it, rather than dry or tight like with some other sunscreens. The pleasant, subtle scent is an added bonus—it's refreshing without being overpowering.Overall, I highly recommend the Oars + Alps Hydrating SPF 50 Sunscreen Spray. Its combination of high SPF protection, hydrating ingredients, and easy application makes it a standout choice for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities. With its TSA-friendly size, it’s perfect for travel and everyday use. If you’re looking for a reliable sunscreen that keeps your skin protected and hydrated, this product is definitely worth trying!

Tastes great and prevents sun damage
I love this. The vitamin C really helps me. I love that I am getting vitamins with my skin protection. I also like that this spray actually tastes good if you accidentally get it in your mouth.

Works great. Keep one in my car and in my golf bag. No nasty greasy feeling.

Works well, repurchase regularly
Works well, sprays on clear, doesn't feel too oily but it is sunscreen so it will still have the feeling of sunscreen - it just doesn't feel super thick like some do.

Greenwashed, TOXIC & FULL of Chemicals – Not What It Claims to Be
I bought this because it was advertised as “clean,” “hydrating,” and “antioxidant-rich.” I assumed it would be a safer, healthier alternative to mainstream sprays. But once again, marketing doesn’t match the truth. This sunscreen is loaded with chemical UV filters like avobenzone, octocrylene, and homosalate—ingredients flagged for potential hormone disruption, skin irritation, and environmental toxicity. To make it worse, it’s an aerosol spray, which means you inhale these chemicals every time you use it—not just toxic for your skin, but your lungs too. Calling this "clean" is incredibly misleading. There’s nothing “clean” or “natural” about this product. Don’t be fooled by the packaging or branding—this is a standard chemical sunscreen with a fancy label. I threw it away and won’t be buying anything from this company again.Clean means non-toxic, not just sleek marketing. Total disappointment.

Too small not enough product
Worked fine, but they ran out way too quickly. I bought these for our carry-on luggage so we wouldn't have to check any bags. But these were way too small and we ran out of the first can early afternoon on our first day. Just 2 of us used it. Next time we'll use actual lotion.
