Value and sturdiness
I have not used it yet but have assembled it. Rack appears to be well constructed and very strong. Based on hefting the parts and putting it together I am confidant it will perform as described. Assembly was relatively easy with one exception that has been noted by other reviewers. Installing the vertical support posts is challenging because the plastic spacers are just a fraction of a mm to thick to make it easy. My solution was to use super glue to affix the spacers in place. Then I inserted the vertical post and aligned the bolt hole using a tapered nail set to align the hole in the post with the hole in the flange. Once aligned, the friction of the plastic spacers held the alignment and allowed the bolts to be inserted (with some wiggling and patience). Other than that I am very pleased so far. It appears to be a very good value and I thing the design is excellent. Supporting the bike via the frame or seat post is much better than the U-Hooks as on the more expensive Name Brands. A much better design .

Good Buy
I have the single bike carrier and use a one to two 2" receiver adapter with receiver tensioner. It gives me additional room to partially open my hatch back and additional height for increased ground clearance. The bolt that some don't like does keep the rack on solid. My older rack has the same thing and I learned to like it. If security is a major concern a custom cable and lock could be purchased or simply store the rack in your vehicle. The rack is heavy duty. My new eBike is 90 pounds and I feel safe using this rack. I've been using the supplied Velcro strap for one of the wheels and brace just as a back up but I'm probably just being overly cautious. This was the best bang for the buck in my situation and would purchase again.

PROS and CONS
Purchased, assembled and installed on May 3, 2025.Here is the straight scoop - the pros and cons of this rack. First, let me say I am a very competent DIY guy with a full workshop of every tool known to mankind. It took me 45 minutes to assemble this rack. The rack weighs about 80 pounds by itself. It is easier to manhandle it into the trailer hitch when it is in the 90 degree upright configuration, easier to store in the garage that way, too.PROS: 1) It is well-built, very rugged and has good fit and finish. 2) The directions were clear and easy to follow. 3) All bolt holes and machined receptacles lined up perfectly. 4) All parts were included. 5) All bolt bungs were perfect, none were cross-threaded or stripped.CONS: There are 4 large black plastic washers that install on both sides of the two upright seatpost supports. These washers will have to be shaved a little bit in the top in order to fit into their assigned spaces. Even then it will be tight and they needed to be tapped into place with a hammer - super tight fitting. That is really the only machining of any part, that needed to be done before it fit into place. You can do it with a file, a grinder, a Dremel or just sandpaper.BIGGEST CON: The ratcheting system for the flexible wheel tie-downs in USELESS. They do not work. You can push the straps into their ratcheted buckle, pull them snug to secure the wheels, but they will easily just pull out again, even without depressing the release. USELESS!. However, I knew that ahead of time by reading other reviews so I expected that problem, but I still chose this rack for its design. I planned to use bungees instead of the cheap-**s ratchet buckles. You will also find they included a baggie of six velcro straps, presumably to use as alternate wheel tie-downs.The only puzzling thing about this rack is that it is by far the best design, well-built, bike friendly rack at this price. Why would they scrimp on the ratchet buckles? They include the baggie of velcro straps as an admission of failure, IMHO.Anyway, I still gave it 4 stars because its still the best-built rack for the price. Use your saved money to buy 6 nice bungees for the wheel straps.

Heavy, well built. You need to be very fit to lift and position.
Not for bikes with 2.75 tires or smaller.Well built, heavy!Assembly requires a several wrenches which a non mechanic person probably won’t have.

Effortless loading.
If you use your bike assist while going up the ramp, loading the bikes takes no strength at all. Great invention!
