These have saved my poor fingers.
I like to hand-stitch random projects a lot, and I was tearing up my fingertips.I love the rubber thimbles (especially the orange, grippy one -- I wish there was a smaller one for my pointer) and the thumb thimble with the slip guard (a must-have if you're sewing through thick fabrics -- I also wish there was a small one of these). It's a good kit to find out which work best for you, and I love that it comes with its own tin!

Nicer than I expected
A very nice set of thimbles. I have somewhat slim fingers, and the size assortment was excellent for me. There are two sizes of the open thimbles, so I can use them on different fingers, depending on what I’m doing. The nicest surprise was the traditional thimble. It is solid, thick, nicely molded with attractive Greek key decoration, and fits exactly as I prefer. I have already added it to my little sewing case.If you have large fingers, you might find a couple of them to run a little small, likewise, if your fingers are very delicate, a couple might to run a little large. All-in-all, worth the price and then some.

For smaller fingers.
Good quality.A bit small for large hands/fingers.

Not too small
Was concerned about all the reviews saying this was tiny. Ordered them anyways because they looked fun and weren't too expensive and if they didn't work for me, my kids would like them as dress up jewelry. They are not too small. They fit fine. The classic thimble is abit snug but everything else is very adjustable and easy to use. And they are pretty.Unfortunately, my children still use them as dress up jewelry, apperently they are great at shooting lightning and fire out of your fingers.

I got my money's worth
For the price I paid, I was hoping that at least one or two of the thimbles would be usable. I have a specific project I needed them for and I am thrilled that I no longer have to put on two bandaids to be able to work. I will be able to use about 3-4 of these thimbles - though some of them are just ridiculous. The two leather ones are the size of potholder thumbs - totally unwieldy, and two of the little rubber ones have holes - for ventilation? Not much protection! But one of the metal rings, and the larger rubber thimble protect my middle finger and thumb perfectly and that is all I wanted. One of the other thimbles - the adjustable one - will work quite well with other projects. For the price I paid I got more than my money's worth. I have paid way more for only one thimble.

Strong, adjustable, variety so you can find something that works for you
Got this variety pack because I have never used a thimble and have recently gotten back into sewing to do repairs. I'm not so young anymore and my fingertips don't recover as quickly as they used to.These work great for pushing needles through canvas and denim. I ended up using a combination of the larger fencing mask looking one on my thumb and the ring shaped one on my middle finger so that I can still grip the needle. I like the little lip on the fencing mask ones to keep the needle from slipping.

Yes, I Can-Do MC Vest Patch Work
I started to do some patch work on my MC Vest, which is leather. Only problem was that I didn't have a thimble- that's a big problem! Not too smart, but I was smart enough to purchase this thimble set. I wear "large gloves" so I was sceptical when purchasing these. Fortunately, the thimbles were adjustable- except for one, which fit my pinky. So no more excuses- time to sew those cool azz patches on my Vest! I guess I'll wear my vest around the house until next riding season!

These were exactly what I needed.
I wasn't sure what type of thimble I needed for the many projects I do and even for the one I was specifically purchasing these for. I change which thimbles I am using based on what part of my finger I am hitting during certain actions while I am sewing. There are a few that do not fit on my thumb being too big, the metal ones like rings but there are plenty of them to find the ones that fit whatever finger I am needed it for.
