It does charge a bit slow but that is expected when wirelessly charging. The convenience of not having the phone plugged in but also charging is a huge plus. I ordered this wireless portable charger to have on hand because my battery seems to always be running low. I like how thin and compact it is. I have a Samsung note 10+ so it doesnt stick as well to my device. I need to make sure that the metal circle is placed for it to work. I knew that would be the case because it is designed for an iphone but I wanted to try anyway. It works really well and charges my device with no effort from me. I simply just place my phone ontop of it and make sure it is positioned correctly. As soon as I hear my phone ding I know im good. My husband has an iphone, ofcourse it works well with his device too. I like this charger because its one of the smallest I have seen. I dont have to walk around with a huge bulky thing connected to my phone. So far it is working out great for us! Would definitely buy again!

I have an iPhone 10s Max with a MagSafe case. This battery charges well but gets hot. The iPhone will give a notification that charging is paused until iPhone temperature is lowered when using magnetic charging. I gave it 3 stars because the phone is typically above 80 percent when this happens, but if it wasn’t for the iPhone temp control this battery would be a fire hazard. If you’re not using magnetic charging and just plugging in, it works well as a portable charger. Magnets is good enough but not as strong as some comparable brands like Anker 633 chargers which I also purchased after experiencing this heating issue. It’s possible using an older iphone 10s Max with a MagSafe case which didn’t come with MagSafe built in was not part of their testing. So newer IPhones may not experience this issue. Likely the case since this product is marketed with iPhone 12 and up in their descriptions. So until I upgrade my iPhone I cannot test. Hope this helps someone.Update: dead after 3 months. No longer holds a charge and too late for a return. Total dissatisfaction with this battery.

I’ve only had mine for a few days. I will say don’t judge it by the first couple of charges, the first three for me were less than great maybe getting 30% charged while my iPhone was in use. However I’m guessing the battery just needs a few charging cycles to get properly calibrated because I’ve been able to get 50%+ of a charge to my iPhone and have this battery at 50 also while in use.I wish it was a bit slimmer, it’s a shame Benks decided to go with a single form factor instead of one for wider phones like the Pro and Pro Max from Apple and a thicker one for slimmer phones. But maybe they’re limited by the battery dimensions.There’s definite warmth when charging but it never has gotten to what I’d consider hot. I’ve seen my phone say charging suspended due to temperature once or twice but it goes away quickly and resumes charging.It definitely adds a bit of heft and essentially doubles the thickness of the iPhone 14 line up. But it’s better than a battery case since you can just remove it while not in use and you still have the benefit of a case (obviously get a MagSafe one). And I speak from experience on the battery case I had one for my iPhone 13 and it would frequently cause the iPhone to get warm enough to cause the screen to dim. Not exactly ideal for a case to do since only way to prevent it is to take off the case and lose all benefits.The magnetic hold is strong, I can hold just the battery and it supports the weight of my iPhone. Though it’s not really comfortable to hold like this (nor is it really intended). And the time to recharge this battery pack is decent as well, I think 4hrs for a zero to full charge.

About a year and a half ago I ordered the EWA mini 4,200 mah battery for my iphone 13 mini. That was definitely the perfect battery. Unfortunately that died, and thus began my hunt for another iphone magsafe battery.I come here, never usually leaving reviews, to tell you that at least for the iphone 13 mini, this is the best battery you'll find (at time of writing) on amazon. I've tried many of the batteries in search of anything as good as my former. This one just barely covers the edges of the phone, its thick but not too thick, it's heavy but not too heavy. I can put this on my phone and leave it in my pocket, which is what I'm looking for.Does this really deserve a 5/5? Not in comparison to what it could be. But compared to just about every battery on amazon (i really have tried a lot) this one is the best.

This portable battery does not stick well to the back of regular cases so good luck. Also it gets incredibly hot when you use the phone while it’s charging. I’m still trying to figure out what the metal ring is for. Was going to return it but decided I’d only use it when I wasn’t I using my phone. The company wrote to me and I responded but I never heard back so three stars. It does what it’s suppose to do. You just have to remove your case and don’t use your phone for however long this thing charges your phone and it’s slow so good luck.

Excellent packing, battery life and charge time meets description, charges battery and phone simultaneously, soft surface feel to the touch, perfect fit to the hand especially for the iPhone mini, weight just right, works well through many typical cases. Highly recommended. Does run warm to touch when being charged and charging a phone but not too hot to hold. This is as expected for wireless chargers. Suggest instructions be more legible (darker and larger print). Suggest including instructions for attaching the sticker (not required for iPhones 12 and 13).
