Lived And Loved Lexington
I bought this never intending to open it but have it set aside as a decoration item, in that facet it brings me as much joy as having one open but luckily, I have many others to fill that need.

Great for homesickness
Grew up in Lexington and moved away later in adulthood and I’m often missing the gems of lex. This is so fun and comforting to play. It has almost every pertinent site and a beautiful board. The cards are hilarious. Only downside is nothing about UK (except one community chest or chance card that says something about tickets to the game and blue and white face paint) but I won’t knock it because I assume it’s due to an intellectual property issue. Get it!!!!!!!!

game from my hometown
I ordered this game right after it came out and loved all the great memories on the board.

Advertisement Game
I am from Lex and there are some very cool spots on the board such as Keeneland, The Horse Park, etc, but most of the board seems more like advertisements than including the best Lexington has to offer. Rupp Arena and Bourbon are two of the biggest things here and neither made the board so I’m guessing they didn’t pay for a space.

Money Grab
I haven't purchased this and won't. I don't normally make reviews on products without buying, but one look at the spaces on the board and it is super obvious this project was a money grab. Most of the spaces are advertisements for companies that don't give Lexington its name or reputation. How was there no Rupp Arena, University of Kentucky, Nicholasville Road should've been the tax space, and free parking should've had a cross through it with a UK logo to poke fun at how much we UK employees pay for parking. This was a waste of time and money for everyone involved. This is the first time I've ever seen a group of advertisements disguised as a boardgame and its honestly unbecoming for the city of Lexington. As an official Hasbro branded game, you would think more research and development would've gone into choosing spaces for this game. Do better.
