I just opened this wood burning set up 2 days ago. I bought it for my Christmas present last year but got to busy at home. When I plugged it in and turned it on, the wire nibs were hot and ready to go within 2 minutes. I already made 5 Christmas presents for next year. I hope to get many many years of fun out of this thing. This wood burning set is not a toy. It is the real deal.

The media could not be loaded. This product is great! The only thing that was missing was the sponge that was supposed to come with it according to the kit. It's very simple to use and heats incredibly quick! . The little attached tin for the nibs is a great idea it makes them easy to store and keep up with.

I really love this, my only complaint is that I had to go back to Amazon to look at the product to see how to set it up. The instructions are not very clear in my opinion. But the heat retention seems good and the different tips are fun to play around with.

The media could not be loaded. This machine heats up instantly and does such a great job burning cutting boards! I love it. If you put the temp too high it will start tiny fires as you burn. Better to burn in a ventilated place as it does cause smoke.

Bought this set to start using pyrography to supplement my woodwork hobby. Impressed by how quickly the tips heat up and how easily the controller works. Before I got a chance to use it 12 year old granddaughter spent hours creating artwork for her friends on my wood scraps…a welcome relief from the constant phone use. Seems like a great product.

As a beginner I found this unit to be user friendly for a beginner its well made and the extra tips are wonderful. We have made several items with this unit and no issues would recommend this unit.
