Homeworkers essential bit of kit
Brilliant headphones for homeworkers.Purchased a set to save frying my brain on a mobile phone all day.Plug them into my mac, connect via bluetooth to my iphone and perfect calls time after time.Lightweight so don't even notice them on.Leaving hands free for typing while on calls.Definitely recommend these headphones from a great make.

Good wired headset
These Jabra Evolve2 50 wired headphones are specifically designed to be used with MS Teams, although as a Teams user I’m not clear if there’s anything to prevent them being used with Zoom, Skype or other video conferencing software. The version I received comes with a USB-C plug so works well with both my iMac, iPad Pro and MacBook Pro. It also makes the headset fairly future proof. The headphones are far and away superior to the sort of unnamed manufacturer headphones that can be picked up for less money. They are very comfortable to wear, helped by the generous padded ear cups. Controls are easily accessible with a dedicated hardware button to activate teams. The microphone on a boom arm can be moved out of the way when not in use. There’s a mute button which means when necessary you can’t be overheard. Sound quality is very good. I use Teams in a study without a lot of ambient sound but, with a radio on in the background to test the noise cancelling technology, that seems to work well. It would certainly reduce distraction in a busy office environment. There’s also an option for ambient sound so you can hear conversations without removing the headset. As an additional bonus, well sort of, the headphones also have Bluetooth so you can link wirelessly to a second device simultaneously. I’m not clear why I would want to do this, and note that the headphones still have to be wired via the USB cable to power them.I guess there’s a trade off with the lightness of these headphones which makes them comfortable to use all day and the on ear rather than over ear design which would cut out more of the background noise. The lack of an internal battery, which means they have to be plugged in to work as I’ve noted, means that if you’re looking for a cable-free solution these headphones are not for you.The key element is sound quality though and that’s excellent for both hearing conversations and clear voice audio when you’re speaking and others are listening.Overall a good compromise between functionality and weight. Four stars.

Excellent wired headset for business use, supports simultaneous wireless to smartphone
In a world where most headsets are wireless it is actually a pleasure to find this high quality wired device. Just plug into USB-C and it works. I got the version for Teams (though it also works fine with Zoom and so on) because that is the conferencing system I use most, for better or worse. The advantage of the wire is a very solid connection and no battery issues to worry about.A twist here is that the headset also supports a Bluetooth connection to a smartphone. The idea is that you can take calls on your mobile while also working on a PC or Mac. Note that this headset is useless if not plugged into a PC or Mac; the Bluetooth is powered by that connection and it the headset has no battery. The headset comes in a protective cloth bag and includes a Getting Started card with essential information. There is also an app you can install but it is not essential for use, and important mainly for things like updating the firmware. There is no USB adapter supplied so be sure you get the right type of USB plug for your system. There are six buttons on the right earcup along with a boom microphone that swings up and down. The buttons control ANC (Adaptive Noise Cancelling), Bluetooth pairing, call answer/end, volume up (or hold to skip forward), play/pause/mute, and volume down/skip back. In addition, swinging the boom microphone up out of the way also mutes it.The two things that matter most to me are call quality and long-term comfort, and both are excellent. These are on-ear headphones and the pressure is just right for me, enough to be secure but not enough to cause discomfort. The one thing that is not so good is the ANC. On the plus side it does no harm to the sound, but it is not very effective in reducing background noise. This does not matter much to me sitting in a study but could be important in some scenarios.Jabra is not the cheapest but this is a business device that makes conferencing less painful, and that is worth a lot.

Great
These are amazing. When I first pulled them out of the box I was a little underwhelmed. I thought they looked quite plain and basic. In fact these are very well designed, but in a subtle way, excellent for the professional work environment. They are thin and light, which makes them comfortable to use for long meetings, as well as easy to throw into a bag.The sound from these is pretty good, obviously they are not designed going to be top notch for music, but for the price I think everyone would be happy. With the volume up to the max I could still hear the music clearly with no distortion.I think where this product shines is the microphone. Testing this with some speech to text software, it was only my voice being picked up. Someone stood next to me saying the odd word was ignored. Cheap microphones will pick up the noise at the end of the office which drowns out the user. The cable is also a decent length without being too long, enough to reach across the desk or to the floor.I think this is a great product with some great features at a reasonable price.

Fine but not as good as prior sport versions
I prefered previous sport versions. The case is a bit slippy feeling and less sturdy but they work fine.

All-day headset
Becasue this set can seamlessly flip between PC audio and the phone via bluetooth, you can find yourself keeping these on all day. And if you do, that's not the uncomfortable day you imagine it would be. I've never worn such comfortable phones.
