I was a little doubtful when they first came in because these are smaller and lighter weight than the other ones I have. HOWEVER they have survived through two very very bad storms with high winds. So these get my 5 star review. The other ones I had did not have the streamers hanging off the arms and I really like that these do. Adds to the effect when blowing in the wind!

I just put the bird scare rods awhile ago hoping it will scare the small birds that come and nest between the balcony shutters and the wall. It is such a narrow space that I don’t know how to tackle this problem. So I hang the rods at the balcony rail of the 10th floor condo hoping it will do the job. It is very sunny at that spot and at times windy too soIt may be helpful.

Excellent quality - worked on deterring a Flicker from pecking at our roof. Interestingly, a cardinal perched next to it for a few minutes, perhaps examining it's reflection. Nice looking enough that it could be used as winter/holiday icicle decorations.

These sure made my tree look like a party tree, but they did not keep the blasted woodpecker away.

We get birds in our covered patio and they reak havoc. They build nests and make a terrible mess. Hung these around in the spots the birds seem to like and haven't seen any since. No more bird crap on the furniture! I have also hung them by the hanging plant baskets, which the birds love to nest in, and so far has kept them away. They are decorative too, so definitely a bonus

Put a ton of these next to where an annoying sparrow is trying to build a nest.Bird just ignores these even though there were a bunch wildly spinning 1 foot from the spot.Returned.

Birds are not affected by these after Day 1. Kinda like them as decoration, but they don’t scare birds enough to keep them away. Super cheaply made.
