Shockingly good
This product is of excellent quality, particularly when considering the price. I do not think that there’s a battery, so it only runs when the sun is out, but when the sun is out, it shines or showers rather. I’m having a little bit of trouble, keeping water in the birdbath at this point, because of overspray, perhaps, but I don’t care. It looks good and it was cheap. Very easy to assemble, perfect size for a birdbath, and gives you a little bit of trickle of water sound.

It Really Works!
The media could not be loaded. I used this solar pump to make a small bird bath fountain. What I liked most about this product is that it is simple, and functional. Within a few minutes time, I made the fountain shown in the video. The little solar pump came out of the box working. It works in the light, not in the shade. In full light, the pump works strong and constant. I made my birdbath with a pretty bowl, a variety of rocks, a half a gallon of water, and the solar pump. The solar pump came with a variety of fixtures to adjust the water stream. It also came with four straws and four clips to be used to steady the pump in a fixed setting. Due to the size of my bowl, I used the rocks to fix the solar pump in the water, and used the small pebbles to control the height of the stream to prevent water loss. This is the first time I ever attempted to make a fountain birdbath, and I am very happy it was such a simple and rewarding project. If you like to relax with the sound of a soft water fountain, this is a project anyone can do.

they are not longer lasting but do the job
These fountains are easy to use and last about 2 seasons. They are not expensive and do the job . I order a to last a year or 2.

solar fountain
This didnt work as well as i hoped it would. The solar power works a little too well maybe and the water shoots outside of the bird bath, the suction works so well it suctions up leaves and bugs and gets stuck on the botton side. It has no battery to hold the power it generated during the day so it only works when the sun is shining. This would be ideal for a larger fountain and not so much a bird bath.

Great!
The media could not be loaded. I wanted a water fountain for our yard, but we don’t have an outlet, so thankfully, I found this solar powered one. It was easy to assemble and worked as soon as it was sunny; however, I do need to refill the water every day so far. Very affordable though, and I would recommend it!

Love these!
I use these in our two birdbaths. When placed in the sun they generate enough output to make the water circulate all day, attracting birds of all varieties. The sticks that come with it to keep it centered didn’t last, but we substituted bamboo skewers and that did the trick. We replace them each time we clean the unit. It cleans easily as there is a small filter on the bottom.

Too soon to judge reliability, but on day one, I'm loving it - no nozzle for bubbling effect
This literally took me 5 minutes to set up and get going . . . and 4 of those minutes were spent trying out the different nozzle attachments.I unpackaged it in the house and removed the plastic film from the top of the pump while still indoors.I gathered up the straws, nozzles and the pump and walked it outside to our bird bath. After taking 2 steps out the front door (and into the sun), the pump started to vibrate in my hand.My fountain is small - - - I'm using an old, carved out stone bowl that's only about 10" diameter. The 4 straws were too long, so I ended up cutting 2 of them in half and using those 4 shorter pieces on the pump. Even those lengths were too long, so I just trimmed them to fit while the pump was in place.Because my fountain is so small, I ended up not using any of the nozzle attachments because all of them caused quite a lot of overspray outside. Especially if there is any bit of breeze, this would deplete the water level too quickly. A few of the nozzles spray a good foot in the air!Without using any nozzle attachment at all creates a nice, bubbling effect with no splashing and no overspray.Birds have already found it, it adds a beautiful touch to our front garden area. and (especially for the price) as long as it lasts a year, I'm very happy.

pretty good
i found the directions a little confusing but i got through it fine. i started with a nozzle that created about a 12" fountain spray that went straight up. the wind blew it around a lot so that the birdbath was empty in like an hour. i took the nozzle off & left the main vertical piece in place. that created a little gurgle in the water, much closer to what i wanted. i also cut some of the plastic rods in half, attached them to the fountain as usual, put it on the bottom of the birdbath and put some stones on top of the rods. this is holding the fountain down so it has the little gurgle but nothing more. the birds seem to like this more. there's foam on the underside of the fountain that works as a filter, as well as flotation. little leaves & junk get caught everywhere all the time. therefore i wouldn't want to remove the foam. the foam is also the reason why it floats & has to be weighted down. i guess that arrangement is ok for the price.it does start up quickly in sunlight. it goes off & on in clouds or shade. just installed it yesterday so i don't have any long-term observations.
