Solid construction. Used them for hidden bookcase doorway. Do require some DIY skills and patience when installing. Installation instructions were of limited assistance.

I don't have a very extensive tool base. I have a craft room/pantry off our TV room but the door is in the middle of the seating area. I wanted to make it a bookcase instead of a random door with a curtain dividing it. This was my second attemt at this bookcase. My first was a simple bookcase on wheels I can roll in and access my craft room/pantry. Now I have the actual door hinge for lack of a better word and I look like a master diy-er. It opens and closes so much better than my little roller wheels did. I want to hide a few other doors now lol.

I have yet to install theses hinges, but they are very solidly built. The top hinge does need extra clearance so the pin can be raised for installation or removal. I am confident they will handle a good sized secret door. Mine are 64" by 30".
