I am very favorably impressed with the USB C HUB, DockteckExpand USB-C Multiport Adapter 5 in 1 with 4K HDMI, 100W Power unit. It is all the description said it was and easily makes up for the additional USB ports I wanted when I bought my laptop, and that applies to all laptops and PCs I have owned since I purchased my first IBM XT in 1983. This multiport adapter is fast and efficient and accurately functionable, so I have lost nothing to essential operations while using it. I have run a portable CD player/recorder, a portable video grabber/downloader and a mouse devise simultaneously through this unit with full service of all three unites. I thought that quite remarkable. And, I use the USB C port and the USB 3.0 ports at different times with the same level of service. I should ha purchased one long ago. And I have been thinking of purchasing another just to have a spare stashed away.

My new work laptop did not have a second HDMI for my second monitor but did have a USB-C with video support so this worked perfectly to allow me to use both monitors. It also adds some great expandability with more USB slots. Now I've purchased a second one to use with my personal laptop which doesn't have an HDMI at all and only has a video supported USB-C. Works exactly as I needed it to.

Works with iPad Pro with usb-c, allowing me to connect to HDMI output cable to share presentations on my desk monitor. Made of highest quality materials (brushed aluminum?).Update:This is affirmed high quality. I frequently have to pull this out and use in office when office-provided connector fails. At least 2x a day every working day.

This little hub for expanding the ports on my computer does as advertised. Plug it into a C port on the computer, then it has multiple other USB and C ports for adding external devices, along with one port designated for a power connection so the computer doesn't lose charge. It will also take an SD card and a micro SD card that I found useful for processing photos from my drone. And it has a HDMI slot to connect a cable for a TV connection.

I loved it

I used this for the ethernet to USB. I was happy at first, then started running into issues. It works fine for a few hours and then the internet connection stops. Upon touching it, it runs very hot. Of course I realized the issue just past the 30 day return window.
