These were purchased for placing in shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child last fall. They were purchased for children between the ages of 5 and 14. We liked the color variation and they cut paper, string, and fabric well (we only tried a few). Not a great fit for adult hands but would be perfect for children. They had a slightly rounded tip and there was a 5 inch ruler engraved on one of the scissor blades. For the money this was a great value for what our purpose was and we plan to purchase more for this coming year's OCC shoebox packing.

These were purchased for a back to school project and are very sturdy scissors. In the past I have bought some packaged scissors that were flimsy and the handles could not hold up to repeated use by the kids. These had strong handles and made nice clean cuts. They were a great price and I highly recommend them. I will be purchasing them again next year for our back to school project.
