This spot massager gives a gentle vibration massage without the pounding experience that larger units give. The vibration speed can be adjusted to match your condition. Overall, the unit is small so that some areas of your back are difficult to reach; however, the small size means that it is light and easy to hold for long periods. The head is egg shaped which permits you to use either the gentle curve of the side or the sharper curve of the end. Multiple vibration modes are selectable, but I haven't found any use for that feature. The entire unit is coated with silicone rubber which gives it a comfortable feel on your skin. Contrary to the description offered by Amazon, the unit is powered by lithium batteries with magnetic usb charging, not corded. Charging time is about 2 hrs, and, while I haven't run the battery down to zero, I've found that a full charge lasts a long time. I haven't used it long enough to be able to judge its durability, but I'm hoping for the best because I really like it.
