I think this book was very helpful -they provided in depth explanations on the answers and provides many test samples

I purchase this for my son to practice for the SAT. I thought it would be a good idea to buy the one from College Board since they are in charge of the test. It is about $10 cheaper when purchasing from Amazon. It is a great update, matching the digital version. Not only does it provide a study resource for the different sections, it also includes 4 practice tests along with answers and explanations for the correct responses. This is a good resource to have for your high school aged kid.

I tutor the SAT, and I have my students buy this book to mirror the new format of the digital exam. It’s the best book on the market, with answers and explanations to guide the way!

College Board makes the test, so the book most accurately reflects what you can expect on test day. So many of the other test prep books give overly broad content or compose questions in a way you won't really see on the test, which has the effect of actually increasing test anxiety.
