No fluff packaging but a potent product. Good product for the price.

There seem to be a lot of reviews that speak to the nature of the flavoring agent in this carnitine product, speaking of the poor taste and the strength of the aftertaste. I did not find that to be the case, in fact, I did not find this product differed, in any significant sense, from any other glycerate solutions I’ve tasted. I used the term glycerate advisedly, most products do not differentiate between the particular salt or ester or even the source of the glycerate —this product, at least claims a vegetable rather than a catalytic fractionation product as the origin. The unfortunate choice of sorbitol means that I will have to reduce the amount I consume due to the laxative effect of sugar alcohols in general and, more specifically, the particular effectiveness of sorbitol in this regard. This is not merely a matter of opinion, sorbitol is the ingredient of choice in laxatives that use sugar alcohols; I, personally, could have done without the sweetening and would have chosen a different agent. It is only because of the sugar alcohol content that I will seek another product next time. If the amount of carnitine you consume is such that two doses of this product approximately 12 hours apart would be sufficient then the product tastes fine and the price is reasonable and competitive with other products claiming a similar dose.To clarify: had the sweetener been erythritol, I would have sent the product back right away or not purchase the product in the first place as erythritol is associated with an increase in the incidence of blood clots. Puzzling, erythritol is fairly common in snack foods marketed towards the health conscious (or obsessed, if you like, I won’t take offense LOL! ) and I brought it up because it has a far weaker laxative effect and a very pleasant flavor but, fortunately, thus far, I have not come across a carnitine product formulated using erythritol.

Nothing to complain about. I prefer liquid to capsule or powder because they’re more effective. Good taste. Easy to swallow because is a little thick like cough syrup. I recommend it as a pre-workout.

Not much to say on l-carn but this flavor is amazing and the quality is great. Always a staple, try it out!

Does the product deserve 1-star? NO. But I am giving it one star to get the attention needed by something I find absolutely without excuse and completely unnecessary. I'm on KETO and it's going very, very well. However, Keto is tough on a 60 year old body and I needed heart supplements like this and CoQ10. So, why on earth does this company consider it a GREAT IDEA to put the 3 grams of Carnitine in a solution of pure sugar alcohol and produce carbohydrates of 6 grams per serving? That is a serious issue for me and I CAN'T purchase this produce again.
