Anti Slip Rowing Machine Cushion High Performance designed for Concept 2 Machine (XL)

Was not impressed by this when it first arrived - there are no straps or tags to fasten it. But it doesn't need any - the material naturally adheres to the Concept seat, but not to the user. I used it for 30 minutes this morning - it was extremely comfortable (though it adds very little bulk) and it did not budge. After years of feeling the bones of my backside grinding on the hard Concept seat with every stroke, it was a revelation.

I was nearly put off buying this cushion due to some reviewers saying it made no difference for them. But I was finding anything longer than 10 to 15 minutes on the hard seat of the Concept 2 very uncomfortable and it was impacting my desire to use the machine. So I took a chance, figuring that we are all built differently and maybe I would be one of the lucky ones and would get some relief.Well, it turned out that my luck was in and I can now row for extended sessions without too much pain creeping in. Its not quite like sitting in a comfy chair but comfortable enough so that It doesn't force me to stop.I like the fact that it's fairly thin and so using the machine feels natural. I once tried a much thicker cushion and that didn't feel right at all. Also it doesn't move around in use which I feel is extremely important.Overall I am very happy that I bought this cushion as it has made my rowing sessions much more endurable and productive.

I bought the XL version and in all honesty I'd say I get about 10% more comfort for my butt over my water rower seat. Good build quality shape and size for existing pad and anti slip is good but let's be honest we are all buying this product for additional comfort so it's core selling point is really not doing a great job. Not recommended if your expecting a huge difference in comfort

the real thing

Good seat pad. Fits my waterrower seat and provides that bit of extra comfort. Just the right thickness, doesn't slip and helps me make the morning row a little bit longer. Happy with my purchase.

This works exactly as described in ads. I got the XL version for my Concept 2 Dynamic and it fits. However it's been two weeks but the stinky smell still is not reducing.It's like a bad leather or bad glue smell and I can pick it up within two meters distance. I tried putting it next to the window and kept the window open, yet it doesn't help.

As a regular rower of 5k+ per day I went large, could still do with a bit more padding, but is better that the normal seat, and really is non-slip which you need on the 2k or less sprints.
