Glory Days

This is a much more mature album from the girls, which is on par with the brilliant “Salute” and is a considerable step up from the off-kilter “Get Weird”. I need to give it a few more spins, but my initial impression is a very good one. I do not dislike any of the tracks.1. Shout Out to My Ex – 9/10 – This is a very punchy break-up song. The distributed ad-libs at the end sound good. It’s a shame that the song is being compared to G.R.L.’s “Ugly Heart”. If you ignore the similar themes and the similar chord progressions in the chorus, it sounds nothing like “Ugly Heart”.2. Touch – 10/10 – Another banger, albeit a loved-up one.3. F.U. – 9/10 – This is pretty much a doo-wop break-up song. The vocal acrobatics are quite impressive.4. Oops – 8/10 – A nice collaboration between the girls and Charlie Puth, which switches the focus back to love. This is a very chill track to sway to. The whistling on the track is a nice touch.5. You Gotta Not – 9/10 – The reggaetón beat on the track is quite catchy. It’s quite reminiscent of Parade’s “Just a Girl”, but a whole lot more enjoyable and lively. The key change before the second verse is a nice added touch.6. Down & Dirty – 9/10 – Another great track with confident lyrics. You just want to get down and dirty to the track. The trinkly intro followed by the bass drop prevalent throughout the verses and on the chorus is sublime.7. Power – 10/10 – This is my favourite tracks on the album – everything about it is good. Definitely single-worthy. The motorcycle effect at the start introduces the rock-influenced track nicely. Perrie’s explosive first verse carries on nicely from there. Jade also sounds good on the first pre-chorus. The repetitive chorus does not even bother me. Jesy’s and Leigh-Anne’s rapped verse, followed by the pre-chorus is also sublime. Perrie’s ad-libs at the end are brilliant.8. Your Love – 9/10 – This is a very warm love song. There is an island feel to it. Props to Leigh-Anne for sounding great on the bridge.9. Nobody Like You – 7/10 – The obligatory ballad, led by Jesy, which is not a bad thing. The girls sound good.10. No More Sad Songs – 8/10 – There is a celebratory feel to the song, which matches the title. Jade sounds good on her pre-chorus.11. Private Show – 10/10 – Another upbeat track. The horns on the track are great. It is a bit reminiscent of “How Ya Doin’?” from the debut album and something from Amerie’s “Because I Love It” or “In Love and War”.12. Nothing Else Matters – 9/10 – This song reminds me of Charli XCX’s “Boom Clap”. The chord progressions throughout the track sound very pleasant. Perrie sounds divine on the final ad-libs.13. Beep Beep – 9/10 – This is a very naughty track, people, but a rather enjoyable one! Enough innuendos and muted words to make “A.D.I.D.A.S.” blush. Again, Perrie closes the track nicely alongside Jade.14. Freak – 10/10 – A close contender for my favourite track on the album. The pre-chorus and bridge just build up nicely. I like the rock feel of the track and the vocal performance from everyone. The bass on the chorus reminds me of “DNA” off the debut album.15. Touch (Acoustic) – 10/10 – The vocal performance on this version of the song is great.

I have to admit that their first single "shout out to my ex" has been on my playlist on repeat for the past few months. Their vocals are just perfect. It's my favourite album yet. it's a lot of up tempo songs, very powerful. The best one being "shout out to my ex". The only criticism i could add, even though i completely love this song are the lyrics, i agree with them, but is it good knowing that the main fan base are teenagers, to sing things about sex. "i wonder if she s having better sex". It's a bit weird imagining 11 years old singing that

I was not a massive Little Mix fan before hearing this album. Some real feel good songs. The acoustic tracks were just amazing- their voices are really incredible. After listening to this album (multiple times!) I am certainly a Little Mix fan now. A real variety of different styles of music not just the standard `pop` album. Shout out to my Ex I would go as far to say one of the best singles of all times!

I love this album sm and it sounds great!

This is pop at its best! I'm loving every song so far, One or two I had to listen to twice to grow on me but growing on they did! Also there are not that many ballads and way more uptempo songs which is a plus for me personally. If you liked the girls' previous work, you'll definitely enjoy this album.

I opened the vinyl and I literally gasped it’s so pretty not scratched or warped it’s literally perfect definitely recommend if you thinking about buying it! It also comes with a little poster of the album cover it’s so cute!
