How does this thing work?? Dunno... but it does!!!
I've got a (real) wasps nest currently lodged in the eaves of my roof. And they're busy little so-and-so's at the moment too.Unfortunately, they are housed very close to my BBQ and decking area where I've enjoyed having a bite to eat over the summer. This was going to be a no-no if my food was going to be interrogated by wasps the whole time.Enter 'Waspinator'. After opening the package, I stuffed both waspinators with plastic shopping bags to puff them up, and then hung both of them directly above the decking area. On ONE occasion I had a single wasp come to try and sample a beer. Other than that, every other time they have left that area completely alone. What an amazing, effective, clever, chemical-free, extermination-free solution!

So far, so very good
To get rid of pesky wasps ruining teatimes on the terrace. Worked instantly although a couple of stray ones came back after a week or so. Remedy? Move it around very couple of weeks. Have given 4 stars as it's still early days. Looks exactly like the Himalayan hornet's nest it's designed to resemble. Wasps hate hornets! It also resembles an unlit lantern which I find quite acceptable. Great service as always Amazon. Thank you.

No more wasps in the house!
Hung outside the back door wasps think the Waspinator is is another nest and keep clear.Simplicity itself to erect, just fill with scrumpled up newspaper and it is ready to go.A brilliant concept that actually works!

Works but
It seems to work, we had wasp nests in roof eaves in past years, but none in the last 2 years.BUTMake quality is not good. One tie came off within a week or so, and the waspinator had to be re-tied using thick tape. Also the 'fabric' does not last more than one season, it seems to degrade in sunlight, i.e may not be UV resistant, and/or inclement weather. A pity really, perhaps designed that way to make you buy them each year.

No More Wasps - Not Likely!
If I could give this a zero I would. We have been busy the last couple of years with wasps building a nest just inside the garage door Then Bumble Bees building at the front of the house. Obviously, word has got out that I am an organic gardener and do not kill these summer visitors but after the last couple of years has mean Coffee and toast or afternoon tea indoors and then going out to enjoy what sub we have had for a few minutes. I purchased the No More Wasps with optimism, of returning to enjoy my breaks in my garden. I hung one just inside the garage where the old wasp nest was built the previous year. The wasps had moved on but two or three had remembered what time, we had coffee and afternoon tea. Not only did the ignore this artificial nest, they sat on it planning their next raid so the poor humans had to revert to indoor enjoyment of coffee and tea breaks . Don't waste your money.

Did not work
We had a bad summer for wasps. We thought we had a nest and paid some expert to check. He found no nest. So we got these fake nests. We still got lots of wasps. Did not work for us.

Actually works - have some patience
I was sceptical about this but had so many wasps in the garden. No nest but really causing a nuisance during the warm weather. We positioned it quite prominently and the wasps were initially attracted to it and went close to it. 2 weeks later we had no wasps and the weather was still warm. Also only used one so can use next year if required. A further 4 weeks on and still no wasps. Maybe coincidence but I believe it is this that has worked. Not a instant result which is understandable.

They Work
We had a queen building a nest in our shed, right above the doorway so we were keen to move her on. We did have to remove her nest a couple of times while she was out collecting mud but eventually she got the message and left. I am not sure the waspinater was the main reason she left but pretty sure it helped as I’ve used them in the past.
