So initially I was pretty happy. It was easy to assemble, the adjustments were pretty good and the chair felt pretty robust and I liked that because it was ergonomic it helped me feel like I was sitting up straighter. 3 months later, I'm having an issue sliding around. Come to find out, the underside of the chair is steel reinforced, but the base the cylinder and wheels fit onto are not. I'm way under the weight limit, but the cylinder has pushed through the hole on the base and is scratching the heck out of my hardwood floors. I'm open to this being just a part failure, but I can't even order replacement parts from the manufacturer, their help page just refers you back to whoever you bought the chair from. I can't recommend this chair, go look for a more reputable brand.

After a couple of months on sitting in the chair, the metal part has scratched the floor completely. The fabric for the back of the chair keeps coming out of the frame. I have spoken with support and they provided a replacement but this chair is not worth it. Annoying to setup and install. Not going to but a HON in the future. I am a big guy, but I am under 100 lbs the weight limit. These problems shouldn't be happening if i am not exceeding weight limit. I feel the chair is made with cheap materials.

While I wish the arm pads were a little softer, the chair is by far the best chair I've ever purchased. It fits me perfectly as a bigger guy, with a contoured back support and the perfect length between the end of the front seat and the back of my knees. The materials are not cheap, the cushion is comfortable without being flimsy, the multi-pivot arms allow for flexibility for all sizes, and the lumbar support is a must-have for those who sit multiple hours each day. Assembly is just two parts (chair and base) to attach together; takes a minute. Most will not be disappointed with this purchase.

This chair is the EASIEST chair to put together. There are only three steps, and NO TOOLS ARE REQUIRED!

Piston drags the floor. Scratches the floor. Overpriced. Previous HON user, that's why I returned to them. Last chair lasted the better part of a decade. This one needs to be better engineered for big and tall people. I'm well under the weight limit.

I gave three stars because the chair itself is comfortable and seems durable enough, but I'm knocking off two stars because that last statement was called into question when the hydraulic cylinder sank through the base, to the point where it was touching the floor. I ruined the carpet by trying to push myself away from the desk, not knowing that the cylinder was touching the floor, and thus ripped a huge hole in it. Luckily for me, I had my previous chair, with a metal base that I previous bought, just lying around, so I was able to remedy this little problem without too much effort and without spending any more money by replacing the plastic base with my metal one.I don't think the chair is worth 782 dollars, (you're getting ripped off if you pay that price, I paid 540 about 8 months ago) especially when you consider that you might have to replace the plastic base they give you with a heavy duty metal one, which is especially egregious considering that the product is marketed as heavy duty and durable enough to withstand 450 lbs of weight. I don't have anything else to say about it. I initially thought it was a decent chair, and although I still think it's comfortable, now I'm wondering how long it's going to last me.

JUNK. I would not recommend this chair at all. It was an expensive piece of junk. I am on the second set of replacement parts in less than a year of owning. The chair ia not even used in a daily basis as I bought it for my home office for when I work from home one day/week. The middle cylinder slides thru the base and literally chews up the carpet/mat or whatever is underneath the chair. Hon has refused to replace the whole chair and the same thing keeps happening with the exact same replacement parts. Save your money a little longer and get a better quality chair and save yourself time and effort assembling and reassembling a crap chair. I will never buy a Hon again.

We decide to go for the more expensive chair and unfortunately this chair is very poor designed. When you sit on it the metal pole scraps the floor. It doesn’t roll properly. The fix is very complicated. Apparently many people have this problem, there is a you tube video about it. It started to scratch the floor after a month or 2 . Even if it didn’t have this problem the chair is not that comfortable for a $700+ price tag. I am about ready to put it in the trash.😞
