Great Buy for the Money!
I have book looking for a good scope that I can take longer-range photographs with using my iPhone 13 Pro. Specifically, I like to take long exposures of the night sky capturing detail of the Milky Way and other celestial bodies. The iPhone has that capability of taking up to 30 second exposures which bring out amazing colors in space that you can not see with the naked eye. However, to do this, you have to have a steady tripod or it will not allow the exposure. With this scope, I am able to set up my phone both to get a closer image and a steady, long exposure to gather the light needed to produce amazing color photographs of space. I love this scope and would recommend it for general viewing AND photography! The phone mount is steady and does not drop or move once set. The scope is clear and crisp and does not have chromatic aberration problems that I have found in other scopes I have owned. I keep this scope with me so I can be sure to capture photos when I see something I like!

Fun to use
I liked the monocular telescope for star gazing and checking out nature areas. I could not get it to work with my iPhone as my phone's camera has more than one lens. I use my monocular for stargazing, on hikes, when I go mountain climbing as it clips to my belt and when I get to a location. I just unclip it and check out all around the area. The monocular is so easy to use and focuses with one finger. The lens cap fits tight and I feel it protects the lens even if I drop it. The price is just right, I even thought of getting another for my wife so she will leave mine alone.

Pretty good for bird snapshots in the yard.
Pretty good for bird snapshots in the yard. Not so great for stars or the moon.

The Good is Good; The Bad Is Horrid!
THE GOOD:This monocular looks and feels well-built and sturdy. I was concerned how difficult it would be to turn the focus wheel with one finger, but I found it surprisingly easy and smooth. The unit came with a fairly nice pouch to store it in and nice lens caps for both ends. It also came with a small tripod. That's where the good ends!THE BAD:This product's optic are absolutely terrible! It was extremely difficult to focus, even on a street sign no more than 30-40 yards away. The problem is, I turn the focus wheel to focus, and it gets close, then even the slightest nudge and it's out of focus in the opposite 'direction'. It's next to impossible to make fine focus adjustments, but even when I finally managed to get it fairly sharp, it was only sharp in the center of the view. The image got more and more blurry moving away from the center, to the point at which, at the edges is was completely useless. I was unable to obtain acceptably useful focus on objects farther away; the farther I tried to look, the worse it was.In short, this is a woefully poor-quality product. You'd have a better experience with a paper towel tube with pieces of glass taped to the ends! Yes, it really was that bad. Add to that the fact that the tripod had a bent leg (slightly bent to be fair, but bent still), I found the purchase to be completely without value at all. "Garbage' is a word that comes to mind. I didn't attempt to use it at night, seeing no point since it's so bad in daylight. If it weren't for the fact that I wanted a refund, I'd have simply chucked it into the river or tried to boot it back to whatever assembly line it limped off of! Quality control seems non-existent based on my experience with this product.I strongly recommend you avoid this product for the reasons above, and I find most of the reviews of it, at best, questionable. This was the first time I have ever purchased anything from Amazon where the product itself made me angry I had bought it! Pass!

Great view but difficult to view pictures
For a single binocular, this is a great product. We ride bikes and I can use the monoular to easily spot wildlife in the distance. Unfortunately, it is difficult to take pictures of wildlife if you are on the move. By the time you get it all set up, the animal has moved on. The pictures that I have taken from the iPhone look like you are taking it through a binocular.

Good for teenagers and adults
Bought this for my three year old cousin. Since it’s getting colder we can go outside much, and he likes to explore the woods and look at birds and squirrels. Bough this for him but I guess he’s having trouble trying to use it, he’d have squint one eye to see and he’s having a hard time doing that. So I kept it for myself and it works great! I go hunt and shooting targets here and there. This product does the job, it’s sturdy, it’s stable enough so I can focus on what I’m looking at.

Returned, 15x not 80x, fuzzy, no zoom
No way is this 80x. At most it’s 15x. Plus fuzzy image around the outside edges, and no zoom feature. It’s low cost, but you get what you pay for. Might work for your needs, but not for mine. High return item for a reason.

Really clear!
So my husband is a bird watcher and I originally bought this for him BUT now that I have it, it might be mine….This comes with tripod mount so it stays steady and a mount that you can attach your iPhone to so not only can you see things better because you can look at the phone screen but you can also get amazing photos through the lens. I’ve been using it around my neighborhood but we are going on a South Africa safari next month and I am super excited to use it on the trip.
