I loved how easily it cut my soap, really enjoyed it for a little bit. Then the handle broke off because the connection point is to shallow and most of the pressure prying the end of the handle, so it will break off pretty quick

I'm a hobby soap maker and cutting bars is the most challenging for me. Took a chance on this cutter and SO glad I did. I use it with a miter-box sort of contraption and it works so much better then the blade cutter it came with. Cuts are MUCH cleaner !!! And it came with 2 extra wires. It's simple enough that replacing should be really easy. If you are on the fence about this cutter, don't be. Can't beat it for the price !!!Update...Been on a soap making binge since purchasing this, using it almost daily and still going strong. Original wire is just as tight as the day it arrived. Couldn't be more pleased.

Great tool for the price. The metal parts work great, the bamboo handle broke off on the first use! Epoxy repair works for now.

I use this to cut handmade soap bars. I love that it comes with extra wires, because occasionally, they break, which can be expected. The only problem with this product is that the wooden handle comes off after a couple of uses. (I've bought 3 of these and the handle has come off each.) However, it is still very useful even without the handle. The metal part is very sturdy.
